Project Naveli is founded by Navya Nanda Naveli three years ago, after her graduation and during lockdown. It aims at bridging the gender gap in India by providing women with access to resources and opportunities that allows their economic and social empowerment. In this episode of Mashable Mornings, Navya talks about getting into non-profit and development sector for social impact, the support she received from her family - her grandparents Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan and her mom Shweta Bachchan Nanda for choosing entrepreneurship over films and the legacy the Bachchan family leaves behind!

Wow Brilliant! Such a pleasant change from the usual nepo kids! Can’t believe the contrast and difference between her and someone like Sara AK. SAK is such a disgrace being from Columbia and doing absolutely nothing admirable! Apni Pita ki tarah Navya bhi bahut Sober or Shaleen jan padti hain. Unke kam or apne kam ke prati unki soch or lagan dekh kar achcha laga.Jiska pariwar itna glamour jagat se juda hai or din rat lime light me rahne ka pressure hai,Usme shanti se ,bina pomp & show ke apna manpasand kam karte rahna , sachmuch prabhavit kar gaya. This girl is so inspiring in so many ways, always a delight to hear and watch! Loved to know that the podcast this time is going to be an audio visual delight so looking forward to that for sure. And a suggestion for the name on the project around menstrual health - how about Project Nisankoch (means without hesitation) in hindi. I suggest this after closely following her work in this domain from the start - By having nisankoch conversations around menstruation, motivating people to talk about it, going out of her way to make sanitary hygiene a part of every women's life and inspiring the world to drop the taboo around it.

I am watching this video today, and I really loved listening to navya. The reason for me commenting is that I did a project on menstrual for rural area women's and the purpose of that project was same as her's when I was in NIFT back in 2020 and the name of the project was "Adhikar" because i feel like it's the Adhikar of every women to get the accessibility of important knowledge and items associated with menstrual cycle. I have the whole branding ready for that project.

I compared this conversation with KWK - 8 where today's young actresses came. Just felt i wasted my time wathing that. This is such a great episode where you have unfolded her to showcase what she is. Before this episode, she was just a pretty face for me. But now i have admiration for her work ethics, humbleness and knowledge. Today's youth should follow people like her not actors who have zero knowledge or maturity.

Why are some people upset that she was invited to the show? She is trying to make positive changes in the society through her non profit organization. What wrong do people find in that? Her being from a well known family is irrelevant . She can inspire other young people to do the same. One does not need a lot of money to do good. Just the will to do so. Peace to all
