He was literally being killed by his own parents. I don't think there is anything in the world more traumatizing to a kid than that. This episode should be called shit parents.

The best part about Mash's fight is that he's still holding back his punches xD

When I hear him say that Mash will stop being his friend because of his eye, I think it’s less because he believes Mash will actually do it and more because of the trauma he’s experienced all his life speaking for him. Like logically he knows Mash is the least likely to do it, but he has so much trauma from others in his life doing it that it overtakes the logic.

I am so happy with this anime. The fights are so good and unlike some other animes, they get to the point. We had 2 fights in one episode. It is so good.

Anyone thought the same thing when watching mash vs that mask guy and he was using the arrow magic as it being the same from soul eater with that one witch named Medusa lol

I love how that fight is just a retelling of Rock Lee vs Gaara and a bit of Naruto vs Gaara but different. From Mashle being essentially Rock Lee in terms of abilities, Mashle breaking the mask (just like the sand armor), the hidden lotus followed by the front lotus, up to Abyss' backstory with her having this great power but being hated for it until her parents literally try to kill her. Absolutely great.

Yes the ability "vectors" or the arrows is shown on demon slayer/soul eater and if im not mistaken accelerator from Toaru Majutsu no Index also has it maybe not in a similar fashion, elfen lied maybe? there are probably more anime out there but this ones are the only that come to mind.
