Masika, Promoting Sustainable Menstruation
This is a documentary that informs women in India about the environmental and social impact of disposable sanitary napkins and suggests other alternatives such as menstrual cups and cloth pads. The film has evolved out of the work of Ecofemme and earth&us.

Well done film. Good delivery, good information and a gentle flow of visuals and audio. I hope it reaches out to enough people to make a difference from all the commercials promoting the opposite.

It is so important to get good information like this. It should be made available to every woman.

Thank you for providing this invaluable information to bring Indian women and women the world over the awareness that menstruation is natural and not to be ashamed of and that disposable napkins are themselves one of curses to the health of our planet.
