So the player's coordinates are _always_ 0, 0, 0, while the planets change position... wow, that makes me appreciate Quantum Space Buddies (multiplayer mod) a whole lot more. Also explains why planets get buggy as you get really far, instead of you getting glitchy.

Kerbal space program applied the exact same tactic to defeat the original Deep Space Kraken bug in the 0.2-ish version of the game. I wouldnt be surprised if Mobius got the idea from KSP

It’s not just space exploration games that do this. It’s a very common trick in video games to have the player always stationary at the origin of the coordinate system.

Possibly, never have successfully done so. One big issue is that the sand is a solid volume, so more than likely the instance one “warps” inside of it you’ll immediately get crushed. Your velocity will also be slower than the Hourglass Twin’s orbit so you’d have to slow down pretty quickly without dying.

I don't think you warp back in time after destroying space time (at least in the high energy lab) because it's an ending, the credits roll, you land in the main menu and you have to reload the save

The weird thing is that the game simultaneously uses multiverse theory and consistent timeline theory. When you do something in a loop and then your memories are sent back in time, whatever happened in that loop status in that loop. However, all the other warps just come out in the same timeline. If you throw your scout at one, the one that comes out of the other a second before your scout gets into the black hole is the same scout. Removing the black hole or white hole before your scout had entered the white hole should not destroy the universe: it should just not be an instantaneous thing. The white should exist for time enough for the scout to finish getting inside but take no other object inside.

Sand still pours down and the level of sand never rises because Ash Twin never begins transferring sand to Ember Twin. It only does so once the time loop is started. There is one trick called “hell skip” that can get you through the falling sand but it’s incredibly unlikely to work. Sorry, should have clarified that in the video! I was quite tired and wanted to finish the video that weekend which is why it’s lacking at about the Ember Twin out of Bounds part :) lessons learned in making this
