As I watched this video I thought back on my own I&E experiences in high school and how Uber competitive it was. I went to school in north Texas and it seemed to me that I&E was really just another place for directors to flex on their program and to this day I don’t think I ever picked my own music. So the fact that a video like this exists to show that not only can you bring a being in from another dimension to compete on crazy cool tenor setups but also that the judges enjoyed and adjudicated the performance fairly is something special. Eric you’re a rock star and I can’t help but feel there are a lot of musicians like myself that maybe didn’t have the best experience with I&E and your videos show that musicianship is about enjoying the music and the performance. I’m sad to say that I don’t think that message was ever conveyed to me when I was still playing.

Most people don't know this, but some Intergalactic tenors are in centimeters and not inches.

Funny thing, as silly as your ensemble of Carrmen Heights drumline characters are...I actually went to high school with most of "them" (i.e. the stereotypical band kids they represent) back in the 90's. Plot twist, one these characters from my high school went on to march DCI with me and ended up in the USMC Drum Corps!! Ha!
