Masked hammer-wielding gang try to steal motorbike in broad daylight

Residents of Clifton were left yelling for the police as they confronted a masked gang of criminals as they tried to smash the lock off a parked motorbike with a hammer. The incident happened in broad daylight on Monday, October 23, in Berkeley Square, Clifton, with the crime being filmed by several members of the public.
Two of the three crooks can be standing around as the third repeatedly strikes the lock with a hammer, leaving the motorbike on which they arrived in the middle of the road, blocking traffic. A woman bravely confronts the men, telling them to "f*** off", with two of them jumping on their motorbike to leave before another begins chasing after her with the hammer, causing other onlookers to start yelling and getting involved.
Another man also confronts the trio, all of whom are dressed in black and wearing balaclavas, with one of the gang threatening him with the hammer. Clearly stressed, one of the thieves defers lock-breaking duties to a fellow gang member, as another witness begins recording them and a woman continues to yell for the police.
