Great walkthrough of Mask Fest 2023!

Nice work Jase (and Jim) . . . thanks for taking the time to edit that together for us (must have taken a while!) A lot of beautifully sculpted/produced pieces on display there - a ton of very talented artists. Not that much that is in my wheelhouse for possible purchases, but: • 6:26 - Nadja & Nandor from What We Do In The Shadows - nice! • 7:56 - It appeared someone had a bit of trouble deciding where he wanted to aim the camera? 😇 • 16:43 - that male Vampirella “door poster” made me laugh out loud! • 29:17 - *_LOVE_* that Grim Reaper! - now *_THAT_* I *_WOULD_* buy. A couple of rewinds showed this was from *_Primal Fusion Collective_* . It appears to be twice lifesize from a group shot on their Instagram page? I also liked the pumpkins they had (shown just before that). As always - appreciate all your hard work, and hope you enjoyed the trip bud. .

That was great. thank you for sharing. you really know how to shoot a show, some of these guys, give me motion sickness whipping around with the camera!

You’re old enough to remember the classic rubber masks that popped up every year in the toy stores, as well as the back of comic books. My all time favorite mask when I was a kid was the “Boris Karloff” Frankenstien I got from my local hobby shop back in 1977. It fit me like it was molded from my head! Greatest Halloween ever!🎃

Hands down the best walkthrough/tour of Mask Fest 2023 I've seen yet.

A great show with talented vendors.

I had no idea this even existed, but I think what surprised me most was the near complete focus on the Horror Genre. I would have expected a larger presence of Sci-Fi & Super Hero items than I saw in the video.

Jordu Schell would be an interesting guest on MCTV.

Only just starting to watch, and I'm really looking forward to your interview with Jim Carrey . . . nice to see you pulling in the big names now you are in the 1k+ club!

Great video Jason. Personal favs were the bug mask ($400 at 18:00 - vendor name not captured?), the bust from the first Warrant album sleeve (DRFSR - 18:38 with still shot at 39:35), with honorary mentions for the 40K Genestealer mask (28:49) and the Six Finger (mask, not the finger itself!) From the Outer Limits (38:36). Would have liked to have seen more of the Creature mask right at the beginning and the small scale figures (hope you got some more footage of these and can show it on the regular show?). Lastly, a call out to all the vendors who pulled a face or threw a shape when being filmed!😊

Next time Jason, does one these.. he should wear a bright Hawaiian shirt.. and straw hat says the big Kahuna..

It's a form of art, that is slowly going away. Because prosthetic? I guess how say it.. glue on face pieces out foam latex.. I worked in halloween store back in 1999.. I knew the change was coming.. And Clubhouse member Razorwire who owned halloween bros. he made masks.. He knew the demand was waing.. It's great artwork most of it.. If they made resin small busts .. It would easier to display.. This is from 20 century.. it's moving through change.
