I don’t know about anyone else but I enjoy your format, it’s like crafting with a friend and what else do you talk about with your friends but your family. Although I am glad that that your doing things for your mental health because lord knows one can only stand so much cartoons, play dough and Disney movies. All that to say your good, be true to yourself it’s the best place to be.
I really miss story time, but I could never figure out how you managed, especially your sleep routine. So I am very happy that your life has settled down now, you have worked full steam for too long! The card is, of course, beautiful. I have to remember to use the “ colors opposite each other” tip. Thank you for all you do.
Gorgeous! I understand what you are saying although I’m in a different stage of life. Retired, live in the country and don’t get out much! Lots of “invisible “ friends and great classes via the internet. Love your story time, it’s real life! And even better, my friend gifted me this whole set for Christmas!
For those of us who have been around since before you moved into Kelly’s Critter Cottage, I’m very excited for you and this “meh” part of your life. You deserve to have some less eventful days to just enjoy being a mom and wife. I was wondering how your driving anxiety has been and if the therapy was any help? Maybe you could have your husband make a card with you? Do you have any other stamp sets coming out?
Hey Kelly, another beautiful card! Speaking of reading, have you read Goldfinch? It was very popular a few years ago. I have a weird question, but the problem may be on my end, I just can’t figure it out. I often cannot add a comment to your videos. 🤷♀️. I can reply to someone else’s comment (as I am here, sorry), but for some reason there’s no box for my own comment. No idea why, but I’d love some help if anyone knows. Also, go back and listen to when you said living with a toddler is like Groundhog Day…LOL! I replayed three times and I’m sure you actually said GroundDOG Day, which was hilarious! 😂😂😂. Its just that Theresa P. and I were chatting that very morning and your tutorials came up, and it was just something we lamented over missing. We both love how you love on your children. 💞 Those upcoming events are wonderful outings to explore. I read all throughout my day (I actually cheat and let Kindle's text to speech with Britian's Brian voice read to me) and listen whilst I make cards or play games. ☺The cake decorating is something you would find of benefit for all those upcoming birthdays ahead of you too! 🤗😘
My favorite story time ever was “Jeffrey the Serial Killer Fish”. I bet you could make blue playdoh in the carpet into a hilarious story.. Learning and laughing, no matter what I will always love your videos.❤❤❤❤❤
I love what you did with the card! I have that set already, so it’s nice to get inspiration from different sources. Now, as far as play dough…I’d be with your husband on it. Whenever my kids got it as a gift from someone, I’d be like ‘Oh God, do you just not like me. I feel like it’s one of those gifts that are regifted often. Your kids schools are a great source of a social life. Getting together with some of the parents at school events…
I can so relate to the not leaving the house but for the reason that I'm retired now and stay at home soooo much more since I don't have to go to work. I bought a new car before I retired. It's a 2020 and I have just over 12000 miles on it. Shows how much I get out 🙂. I love the "doll hairs" for dollars. So cute! My favorite from my daughter when she was little was when I told her to behave and she told me that she was "being have". She's now 40 🙂. Love your cards Kelly and your stories when you have some to tell. HUGS!
Doll hairs! I love it! Adulting is hard with youngsters and a home business. I love all the stories you bring to your craft whenever you have something to share. You bring so may tips and techniques that Storytime is not always necessary, but it’s a treat when you have something to toss in like doll hairs!
Beautiful card, Kelly. I love story time when you have it but, honestly, I watch your videos regardless. Thanks for the tip about the 0 marker to let it dry between layers. Somehow I never heard that tip and it is a great one!
Very pretty, there is also a purple finch, that is more red to red violet in color, if you wanted to stretch that stamp. Would love to see you try that as well❤❤
Such a lovely card. You did a wonderful job on the bird on this card. Not really caring for birds, it's hard to color something realistic and you knocked it out of the park. Thanks so much for another great video.
Stunning card as usual. I think if Eric made sure there were spiders in the house there would be some great story times lol. Not that I would encourage him to bring them in to the house.

Beautiful! 😊🇨🇦 Growing up, we had a lot of lilac trees. In the late spring we’d see gold finches in the trees with soft lilac colors. I forgot about the yellows going well with purples until you mentioned it. Thank you for making me think back to wonderful memories of seeing the gold finches. I’m sure they’re still around many years later but I rarely see them anymore.
Truth be told, I'm good without the story time. Your personal life is none of my business, and I come here to hear about your cards, not your life story. I don't mean that in a nasty way, I just want to hear about the card and story time turned me off from your videos more often than not, sorry.
