Masori is in kind of a weird spot as well in that: 1. It’s not “out of the box” BiS, but requires upgrades to fortify it which also give it Prayer bonus 2. BowFa makes the ranged progression awkward as with full crystal it beats any bow in the game except Tbow, meaning your use cases for Masori are very limited if you don’t have a Tbow, and unless you’re camping Nex, you can put off Masori until you get the Tbow 3. Ancestral and Torva, by comparison, are almost always strictly better than the second-best option in their respective styles regardless of weapon (Virtus obv better on Ancients, but you don’t really use Ancients a lot outside of ToB and Inferno)
Underrated comment... I'd also like to add that, the price of the Tbow is 200-300M more then shadow, roughly the price gap between masori and ancestral, again with the scythe being 200-300M less then the shadow, so it seems pretty obvious that the price gaps are being made between the rares and the respective armours
This is very accurate but also stormclient currently has a ToA bot which has been near 0% ban rate for over 3 months now. There are hundreds of shadows posted in their discord and many accounts with 10+ shadows and 50+ fangs each on their collection log. jagex has never overlooked an endgame bot this bad ever in history.
Wouldn't it be similar to pegasian crystal being worthless due to the upgrading? When pegasians came out they just tanked in price needing rangers. Masori would be less than Armadly if it follows the same pattern
I think masori price is also depressed by crystal armor being a strong alternative for non tbow owners since there’s not quite an equivalent for magic and melee
@@predictable9850 you need the charge spell which is level 80 to make it hit like that. so your question is why should a level 80 spell smack as hard as a level 80 spell?
Fang, Masori should have been drops from experts only. They wouldnt be as common now. Also some nex items like the vambs or maybe xbow should have been in toa drop table since theyre bis for range. It's stupid that a boring boss like nex drops 5 bis items
i’m gonna assume there’s no SA servers because it’ll mean jagex getting taxed in more countries as they’ll need contracts with local data host companies for the servers 🤷♂️
@@Nachopanda66 lol you name the place and pull up and compare banks. I guarantee you’ll have a cheese cape and be a broke bitch. I have 10b on an iron so let’s see who’s the winner?
“It’s just a mid level spell it doesn’t need to compete” it should at least keep Fire effects in a spell named FLAMES of Zammy. And what use do god spells actually get once your done with MA 1 & 2 to get the capes? If you gave the God spells uses such as Fire effect to Flames, Earth to Claws and Air to Strike and made the GOD STALVES autocast GOD SPELLS they might see some use…
Make fortified masori better offensive stats and make the items used to charge it be from ToA. Maybe even use the elidinis ward/lightbearer as items to charge it to increase the prices of these too.
Let's be honest Armadyl armour is obnoxiously overpriced because nobody wants to do the boss and it's solely farmed to fortify Masori so it's effectively part of that price.
Probably the fact that TOA is soooo free compared to the other raids. I'd imagine is dropping the price. Shadow shouldn't be worth more than scythe if you're looking at raid difficulty and not how broken it is.
What u yapping about ? Cm cos is piss easy too and its in the game for the longest so should be more item , and the item are not as cheap , cox is piss easy to do , the reason the price is dropping is thr botting issue lad.
Yeah defo we can blame it on bots. Theres metric ton of bots doing toa. Same thing is happening to pnm right now. Bots in Monk robes with hasta or with obby set and bludgeon are 24/7 running that. Go stand in front of pnm or toa entrances and see for yourself.
masori is crashing because TOA is pathetically easy. Masori itself is actually pretty shit too. Not good armor. The mask looks stupid too just for the record
Why is anyone surprised? 90% of all content added to osrs is catered for end game players. So, when end game players keep chasing the newest and best gear drops, while mid game still struggles to break into end game, you have a much smaller number of players playing that content. So what happens? There is a flood of the newest items, and a massive drop in the lower end game gear being dropped. Want to fix that? Then jagex needs to stop adding end game power creep content and smooth out the gap between mid and end game.
TOA should have been grindable, not rushable. The dungeon is too easy for what the drops are worth, and now the prices are causing sadness. OSRS failure.
