@@teh-piper6747 That's fair. I think the Epstein thing was too blackpilled for me but the leaks about how uncertain Trump's outcome is just had me juiced.
Normally, I'd say Huitzilopochtli would be a more adequate deity to address the sacrifice to, but since the world is quite literally on fire I would probably go Tlaloc.
@@akumakorgar oh, don't worry. The cycle will go on. It's more about mankind not needlessly maneuvering itself in the way of the wheels turning and being mercilessly and prematurely grinded back to stardust. And all for a Pepsi and a Big friggin' Mc...
@@elijahz7019 Funny, I was just listening to that. It’s the redness in the face that gets me - like America’s immune system is suffering from some kind of inflammatory disease, a build up of hate and greed and ignorance and selfishness.
She doesnt have the best takes, but she's literally the only one on Chapo who actually organises with labour, which already puts her miles above the others even if Matt's the best informed
The mistake of the Left Wing is thinking that the Right Wing cares about hypocrisy. But they don't. Because they don't know what it is. To the Right Wing doing something they want is correct, and being against that exact same action is also correct. Since both are 'correct', where's the hypocrisy?
"doing something they want is correct, and being against that exact same action is also correct" that is hypocrisy, whether they acknowledge it or not.
Because it's a relatively small number of people choosing for the rest of us and even if the number were larger, they're still choosing to end all of us by razing the planet and misery in the meantime
It was just as I feared, the funniest thing ever happened, and we have Amber here with her bona fide Trump loving and 'contrarian for the sake of it' takes, killing the flow constantly. It's one thing to play the Devil's advocate when talking about more serious matters, but COME ON! Clearly Amber has as much problems of enjoying this as Rachel Maddow.
Why are they such doomers about Covid? Jeez. Also Amber reminding me why I stopped watching this show. Terrible takes; Felix is funny and I like Matt though.
"He's got no swag left." Do these guys ever get anything predictions right? Ever? Listening to these in retrospect is a fascinating lesson in human nature. "We're proven right more often than not." No guys, you really aren't. Cognitive dissonance, it's a hell of a drug.
For real, I love Chapo, but even if you exclude a lot of their more out there predictions and give them the benefit of the doubt they're just making jokes, they're still wrong like 70-80% of the time. So I really baulked at Will talking about how often they're right
And despite what our Chapos say, that's a totally sane and rational position to take. Most of their anger is just watching liberals on Twitter do some kind of moral scolding routine, just like with vote-shaming. It just gets old fast.
@@jessecool8623 - That's adorable...except that's not the reason why I'm uncomfortable with it. I'm uncomfortable with it because it's wrong. Maybe in the minds of people like yourself, and the Chapo folks, the only possible reason anyone would cross a line in the sand is because they want to be "approved of by others", but you don't get to speak for everyone.
Why not? It's not like wishing death on someone actually does anything. And it's not like right-wingers will give you the same courtesy you pride yourself with. You are literally whining about a thought crime. This is the definition of a moralistic spook. We already have almost no control over this horrendous reality people like Trump have helped to foist upon us, but we are not even allowed laugh when something ironic happens to them? This guy finally faces the disease he is responsible for spreading as far as it did, claiming 200k lives, and still, buzzkills like you want to signal their moral piousness. Do you think Hitler deserved to die? If yes, this necessarily means that either 1) somewhere between Trump and Hitler there must exist a line beyond which even you agree deathwishes are okay, or 2) it is some kind of continuum.
I do disagree about your collective comments on wishing Trump would die and feeling happiness about his sickness. These things come back to you on a psychological level later on in your life when you are facing health difficulties or even death. Sure, your wishes won't affect reality. Sure, you don't need to keep up a saintly appearance. However, you do have to look out for your own spirit and protect yourself from "karma". You may not understand this now but there will be moments in your life when you reflect on what you have said and done....These statements will weigh heavily......Alright then.....Carry on. Just saying....
@@4nn4h ....That's why I put it in quotation marks. In any case, I was trying to explain that there's always important moments that happen in everyone's life, when they reflect on the things they have said and done.
@@rolandsaucier1006 I don't think anyone will be regretting their Schadenfreude over Trump's illness. I certainly won't. He's caused a hell of a lot of suffering in the world, so taking satisfaction in a small amount of poetic justice isn't compromising anyone's morals.
