What is so sacred about them? are those objects individually related to some individual story around them, did they belong to some person who is considered holy?

there are some masks used for dances like rain or crops and took them away and they won't do the dances anymore because their masks are gone and that's why blue star came because of scientists who won't leave the masks alone.

VERY VERY SAD that someone would do this. People do not know what these are about and how sacred they are to many. In the long run the people that have exposed this and have paid money are only buying time till something drastic will come upon themselves and their people, country, and environment. VERY SAD

This is so sad! they are messing with my wuhya's! "isssss okiwa" =( makes me wanna cry but what can we do? this is part of the hopi prophecy.... Now because of this my lil brother that isn't initiated knows about the katsinas... Its so sad... we don't know what to tell him and he cried when he saw it. =( "sigh"
Really hurtful to know that I am Hopi n seeing them makes me feel sad n not only the ones that I see are from Hopi but one I see is from Laguna and that breaks my heart to heart to see them like this

As Euro-rooted as I am, some individual collector has NO RIGHT to possess them so far from their homelands. That 100% implies no right to sell said masks. These artifacts are too precious to peoples I respect and admire.
this is so sad to see I am I am from hopu and jemez and some of our jemez ones r in there and it sad to see white people do this to us and it scare because kids might see this because it on the internet and a lot of kid r on the internet
