God, I love this piece of music. When it plays during the dlc, I just get so pumped. It just so perfectly captures the idea that the fate of the galaxy is on the line and you only have minutes to save it. I get fucking chills listening it. Thanks for looping this to perfection.
First time I played arrival, I didn't realize what was at stake and the indoctrinated guards were hard as stone to kill. best DLC in ME2, always best saved for last as it gives a great lead up and a taste of the combat and dread to come in ME3.
Get chills anytime I play this section, and the same chills as i listen to the track now. Definitely my favorite part of The Arrival DLC by far. The Visuals were absolutely stunning. Speeding towards the alpha relay on the back of an asteroid, fighting soldiers and mechs the whole way. You can actually see the relay getting closer as you go too, which is brilliant. Talk about sweaty palms.
Hi there, thanks for sharing this music! Definitely one of my favorite music pieces from the entire Mass Effect trilogy, and it perfectly captures the essence of the situation: time is running short, and you can't waste a single second, or it's all over and the Reapers win. (What a shame that they never released the Arrival DLC soundtrack like so much other music from the games...) Even now, this is helping to motivate me as I write!
Curious as to how you mix these things. What software do you use to get it so perfect? I've tried fooling around with programs like Audacity to chop up mp3s for a couple RPGmaker projects, but i can never seem to get the audio to mash up right. You've got talent mate.
