Let's hope Bioware won't troll us, And the N7 armor Liara finds Is actually Shepard's and the timeskip isn't far too long. I don't expect to play as Shepard , but i would be cool to see him/her again. I've promised Liara to always return back to her. And I mean it.
The whole story is a masterpiece of literature, for as strange as it can appear.... The story is something that will remain forever in mankind culture history.
CGI movies like this do exist. However, they cost so much $$ to produce, that most of the movies failed to generate a profit, thus there's hardly any new movies of the CGI genre in production. Final Fantasy: The Spiritis Within, was the deciding movie which dictated whether we'd see producers steer into this direction, unfortunately, it never delivered.
yeah and those kinds of children movie suck compared to the ones we use to watch back in the days before 2009.... i wish they would make movies like this man resident evil and couple of other games have done it ...
Final Fantasy Kingsglaive was pretty good, I agree, I'd like to see more in the way of full CG movies like this (for the record, China is producing more and more full CG TV series lately, some of which are awesome)
Just finished replaying this on the Legendary Edition. Won't lie, I cried. This trilogy has a special place in my heart. Its been with me through some of the most difficult period of my life, including right now. You have my thanks, Bioware.
ME3 always got me crying… that kid and the Leaving Earth music hitting at the same time is like a freight train running at your jaw with the rest of your head squished by the tracks
As a kid I didn’t have any friends and so I’d play mass effect and get real into doing the loyalty quests, characters like Garrus were my friends to me and so when I’d watch one of them die I’d be heartbroken and go back and restart the suicide mission to try and save as many as I could. Thankfully now as an adult I have a better life and actual friends but as a kid this game series was my whole life
@@j.4354 it may be even later, but I would argue that center of trade was always in China ,computers at their core were better in USSR (three point logic "yes-no-I don't know" is better than two ones "yes-no"), center of culture and invention of steam engine is Rome, world wide web was born thanks to Switzerland and industrial revolution started at France. Nothing of significant importance to humanity was done in UK. UK can only divide other countries and exploit them, not doing significant things by itself. And yeah, Reaper-wise the most efficient point of attack would be gulf of China.
+N7SPECOPS I remember watching this trailer before the game get released. Now i've finished this game years ago and still came back here just to watch the trailer and get goosebumps. (:
The ending caught a lot of flak which somewhat overshadowed the rest of the game. Maybe the controversy was deserved, maybe it wasn’t. That’s trouble with ending big stories though! No matter what you can’t please everyone. Of course it didn’t help that EA forced BioWare to release it before they’d properly finished the ending, which is the actual reason things were as they were. Despite that they still did an amazing job. ME3 is definitely one of the best games I’ve ever played. The story, characters, and choices, all worked perfectly to portray a galaxy at war. Hell, we’d always seen Shepard relatively in control, even when shit hits the fan. But in 3 he’s desperate and willing to do whatever it takes to destroy the Reapers. Damn it.... now I need to replay the trilogy!!!
@AJ EXELL Weak argument. Shepard lives in the Destroy/Canon ending. And also The Warden dies at the ending of DA: Origins and it's still regarded as one of the best RPG's of all time.
Please EA, don't destroy the next Mass Effect. Even if we know that it's veterans of old games who develop it, give all their time so that they make us a masterpiece. Mass Effect deserves it, we deserve it
+OrionoftheStar *REAPER,A NAME GIVEN TO US BY THE PROTHEANS TO GIVE VOICE TO THEIR DESTRUCTION, IN THE END WHAT THEY CALL US IS IRRELEVENT, WE SIMPLY ARE.*
The greatest video game trilogy ever created. What an absolute legend it was to experience each game and their respective launches. The hype for each game was UNREAL!!!! I'll never forget going to the midnight releases. When preordering actually meant something. Oh how gaming has changed......
We should have acted. But they were already here. The Prothian beacon told of their return. Sovereign's defeat was merely a delay. For the time after the Omega 4 Relay opened, and the sons of Tchutanka would spill their own blood... But no one wanted to believe... believe they even existed. And when the TRUTH finally dawned... it dawned in FIRE! But, there's one they fear... In their tongue he is Comander Shepard... Earthborn! WE'LL BANG OKAY?!
The Mass Effect triology was such an amazing experience. Watching the trailers I remember how when I romanced Liara it wasn't my Shepard who fell in love with her but me. That a game be so wonderful that you fall in love with fictional characters is truly something beautiful.
+jay pad i stated that 'literally falling in love with a video game character is miserable'. how the hell is that a bait that makes you remind of me as such?
Also, this trilogy should be a series of movies. The live action trailer was phenomenal. And this, this makes it even harder to leave Earth when you play. You want to fight those damn reapers right then and there!
You know I believe mass effect could have their big shot as a movie. If they would to prequels like First Contacts wars but only movies. The games require sequels. :)
If it got an up and coming Christopher Nolan type to direct it than maybe. However history points to an over the top cheesy action flick directed by someone like Paul WS Anderson.
Two Steps from Hell! I knew the music sound familiar!!! First track is 'After the Fall' from the Album Invincible and the second track is 'Black Blade' from the same album, AWESOME!!!
This trailer is so good, it almost makes you forget that, until the Reapers park the Citadel over Earth, it has no more inherent strategic value than, say, Palaven or Thessia, so ther's no real reason it should be the focus of uniting the Galaxy rather than, say, the Crucible.
CzarnyMlot No. This game is too beautiful for a developer to ruin it with a movie. It's already cinematic as it is as a game. If you want to experience mass effect, play the game.
CzarnyMlot It fits a lot better as a game. Perhaps their could be a spinoff miniseries to test out the theory. But chances are nobody would invest in that.
Hell ye, but hey, we can always reinstall the games and go back to the good old times. Just last year I played the trilogy again after a long break of about four years. It was perhaps the best playthrough I've had so far. I was able to get way more immersed and understand a lot more about the story now than last time when I was a mere 19 year old.
I just finished ME3 and all I can say is, oh my god. It is so much more than a game. It is a unique combination of immersive narrative and action woven together into a cinematic masterpiece. Can't wait for ME4
To be honnost I actually feel kinda sad we didn't had a fight in the game like in the trailer. Just army vs army kinda halo/battlefield... It looks awsome and EPIC
Or how about animations this good? Or how about graphics this good? Mass Effect never has had good animations, or good voice acting... Or even good graphics.
hellcatdave1 having compared Mass Effect to other games, I disagree on every point (minus male Shepard's voice actor Mark Meer, but even then it works for me since he's a soldier and soldiers aren't exactly known for their emotional sensitivity in their voice acting [see Act of Valor]).
Mistah Pug lol who the fuck plays PC? Must have no life of you spend your time playing on a computer that doesn t have nearly as much players as console. Sorry bud, but the PC will never be officially recognized as a gaming platform.
1. Open "Zack Hemsey - See What I've Become" 2. Start playing from 0:28 3. Mute the audio of this video, and then start it from the beginning 4. You're welcome
The best shot in this trailer has to be the reaper descending into frame above the field, with nought but the low ambiance and the dog barking in the distance. Truly lovecraftian horror at its finest captured in a single 10 second long clip
what do the reapers have against that one little girl? I mean she looked like she was in the middle of nowhere and the reaper went out of its way to hover over her. Reapers are jerks. :D
+DHF F They don't. If anything, it shows how the Reapers inspire superstitious awe (even when not rewriting our brains for it) just by the appearance of their presence. The Reaper was just there. The girl filled in all the blanks about what it is and what it intends (as did we).
+DHF F *"HEY GUYS! LOOK HOW MUCH I CAN SCARE THIS KID! STUPID ORGANICS..."* *"JUST KILL HER, ALREADY. WHY DO YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO BE SUCH A DOUCHE, SLUGGARD?"*
She's in a field. Reapers' entire function is crop rotation. This was made clear in ME1 if you accessed the Prothean Sphere (which is actually a Leviathan device).
God, it would be so great if we got an animated movie in this style, that took place on Earth during the events of ME3. It could cover and show us what Anderson and Coates were doing on Earth before the Final Mission
I remember being so pumped for this. Feels like only a few months ago. One of the first games I pre-ordered. Also one of the first games I bothered to upgrade to special edition. Even had a dream about reapers invading earth for some reason.
In time, you will know what it's like to lose. To feel so desperately that you're right. Yet to fail all the same. Dread it. Run from it. Destiny still arrives.
