Great video. The last time I sowed winter barley on the family farm was in the late 1970 's with a MF65 tractor and an iron- wheeled MF 728 combined grain & fertilizer drill.
Lovely to see these vintage tractors working as they are normally either owned by people who only take them to shows or they are a pile of scrap in a junk yard!
Aye those were the days - hanging on the back to spread outthe seed & fert on sideling land and to have blether or a smoke. Oh oh noses - sowing across the ploughing!! not good a all - bet the crop came out like that too and the combinehad bit of a job. Gonnae nae dae that! Love the drawbar Pin! keep on Drilin!!
Thanks for asking! It was left because it was a very wet part of the field and before filming started he actually got stuck, you may just nice the wheelings?? That part was left until the rest of the field had been sown as it gave it a bit longer to dry out.
