Thank you very much Lance! That's exactly the problem I have with my MF65, the main clutch works fine, but the PTO clutch refuses to work. So this information is very important. I will try to check those things you mention removing the bottom plate. Thank you very much!! A very grateful MF65 owner from Uruguay 😁
Great video Lance. When I had the tea20 Ferguson engine apart a few years ago, I made a wooden clutch disk centring tool before I took the pressure plate of the flywheel. Hehe. Worked great to centre the clutch disk when I put I back together.
Hi. Lance. Done that PTO clutch adjustment on an MF many times. An old bit of snapped of hacksasw blade is just right as a gage. Some are a bit strange size bolts, allways have a 12mm spanner handy. Keep up the great vids. Martin. (England)
I've watched your videos on tearing down pumps and you have helped whole lot I have 6610 Luca cab delphi injection pump dps 8523a100a it's a rotary pump and I'm needing to learn and know about it and fix it need some parts also wondering if you have worked on this type of fuel injection pump
Yes, between the hex head and the plate. A hacksaw blade is around 0.025" normally. Possibly a bit tight but it will work until the plate wears a bit. I like to go at around 0.060" it gives a nice pedal feel.
@@BundyBearsShed thanks, i got it done. I had a hard time getting it to buckle up for some reason but finally got that done. Now, i got problems with my governer assembly, i forgot where the springs attached and how the U bolt set. I wish i had a close up pic of that.
Oh man, I've definitely felt like that fella before with not taking out the transport bolts. So embarrassing. But ya learn something with the screw-ups.
