This really takes me back. I remember asking a lot of the same questions, being in awe, as my Dad used his 101jr and a 1 bottom plow to turn over our garden. Now Dad's gone and I have one of his Massey's. This year I'll be using it to plow / dump snow. Looking forward to carrying on the tradition.
That Tractor, missing on One Cylinder, is still pulling that Plow with ease even idled down. I wish that They would fix it and tune it up. I listen to more John Deeres than l want to hear anyway. Massey 44 and 444s had a long stroke and could pull down like a Caterpillar. Fergieman
I always found the 333 and 444 stalled too easily compared to the 33 and 44. We had all four of these tractors, and while the 333 and 444 were far more fuel efficient, the 33 and 44 had a governor that always seemed to be there right when you needed it.
I love classic equipment wish there were more videos of this on stuff on youtube. That massy pulls that two bottom with ease. Is that a 45hp? Great Video
