Why do we focus on folks who get food stamps? Most of the tax money goes to the million dollar homes, vacation homes, designer items, yachts, etc of overplayed politicians. It’s not the poor who get something from the government that we should focus on. That’s the tiniest fraction of tax payer money. So tiny that most don’t even pay into that pot. And billionaires don’t even have to pay taxes… just something to think about.
I agree. People get cozy in poverty and being married to daddy government. It is disturbing to see the lack of compassion toward the working class when THIS is what we have to support.
You work to pay for the overpriced politicians who pretend to be your friend, not the food stamps for the poor. Most likely you don’t even pay into that pot. Ah my tax dollars hard at work here! Just curious, do you have plans to come off of government assistance? I watch half of my paycheck go to taxes every month...makes me wonder why I even work so hard when you could live for free?
