Massive 1600m/sq Pressure Washing Job And the Fastest Way To Resand It

The worst part of any block paving pressure washing job is the re-sanding so when I got a massive 1600 square metre area to clean I wasn't looking forward to it until I found the Stihl power broom. This allowed me to resand this huge job using 32 bags of kiln dried sand in just one day.
I also discuss why I cleaned it the way I did, why I didn't use any chemicals and other points to look out for when quoting for a job of this size.

Should of used hypo 😊 Epic job Dave. All you neec now is a wireless remote start stop wired into your Briggs ignition circuit. Top tip for power brooms is to get a hardness for it but use bungee shock cord to make a counterbalance for it to offset the back end weight

Hi Dave great video, I am currently doing a 650sqm block paved driveway and I’m impressed with the power brush for sanding large areas and the sludge is my nightmare trying not to block any ACO drains and I am averaging 20,000 steps a day doing it too😂

Hi mate, excellent job. Really enjoyed that video. Power broom was ingenious. Can I ask when re-sanding with it. Could you not have made a thick line of sand and then snaked forward horizontally at an angle rather than going in straight lines and then carrying it back? I honestly have never used one so this is a genuine question it looked a pain having to shift it back. Got a similar job coming up and am seriously considering getting one after watching this. Cheers 👍

You should have used hypo! lol. I’d love to get a job like this one day. How did you manage the logistics with things like the water? Spread evenly between the properties or a wash out hydrant? How about managing the residents/customers? Were there any learning outcomes you took away? Thanks Dave, great job.
@squeakycleandave1
@squeakycleandave1 2 месяца назад
All the properties run the maintenance themselves as a business with one of the owners acting as business manager and all paying a monthly fee. I had arranged that I could use garden taps as my water supply and as they are on metres they would be reimbursed for there costs by there management business In all fairness the residents were fantastic all being really pleased to have the work done.
