@@WolfDragon07 I think it's to do with SC2 being so fast paced. Most RTS games are slower than SC2. Especially the old school ones which are the ones people enjoy most
I'm a big fan of DoW1 and DoW2, but I couldn't play DoW3. Watching this video, I can't understand why this game was a big failure. The battle is huge and awesome. Great video :)
Honestly I wish the developers didn't gave up but its very telling that didn't pay attention what made the original great or at least what made the first 2 game series soo popular 😕. When they release the new champion the Eldar Wriathseer i was actually very happy and astonished 😲 of what he can do but most importantly what the Wriathseer can do in synergies with in-game mechanics!! And thats why this game suffer soo much is the lack of in-depth gameplay mechanics. I will admit tho thanks to this game 🎮 I became a fan of the Eldar Wraithseer Kayduin!!!
Not exactly a dynamic map, you spawn next to each otehr and run directly into each other over and over again for 29 minutes. Hardly thrilling RTS gameplay if we compare it to something like Broodwar ASL Seasons
@@niconilo97 For nothing... lol yeah the game totally died in a single month cause it was so good. The game was a dumpster fire. Go watch any number of the reviews for it or a death of the game video. It deserved every ounce of the hate it got.
Game limiting your playstyle, I mean you can have a few builds for each race but when you compare it to DoW1(# of races aside), then the disappointment would be thru the roof--floors(?). DoW2 is a different game entirely while this feels like a game mode(StarCraft & warcraft have custom maps like this). Sad that the DoW ended not with a bang but with a whimper, oh well space marine 2 is coming..
