I remember years ago when I fished for Amberjack the first time, had to be 28 Inches to keep, both my wife and son caught their keepers on the first fish, I however had to catch three before I had a Keeper, just an inch or so shy. After that third one we moved on to other fish but I did not fish for the rest of the day (and fishing is my most beloved passion)

Wow. I haven’t done a lot of salt water fishing and caught anything too big....but sooner or later I will have to give those AJs a try.
