What I love about these types of events is that new bee keepers can learn so much from real bee keepers. We have some events here but no where near as big and good as on your side of the pond. I was planning 2024 but gonna have to wait until 2025-26 now as had some major changes of plans to visit family in NC Is there any links for that hive tool with the round edge? That would be perfect for our Finey Hives. Pure genius design.

I always find the little award winners in town, hook you up in Kentucky, hope they have good food! I have pictures! I have several reasons why I won't be there this January. 1) a fixed income. I'd be broke in the first hour and not have the gas money to get home. 2) recovering from a lobotomy. Just kidding, but I will be recovering from deep brain stimulation surgery. 3) etc. Randy, Brian, Greg, Bruce, David, Fred, Yappy, Ian, JP, John, Mike, and the list goes on... It is open to the pubic. No one day passes this year. Well worth the price of the ticket though. I think it's $165 for three days.

What is the reasoning in having two major bee conferences 4 hours apart on exactly the same weekend?

Long, long story but the ABF conference used to be on the same weekend also. ABF changed to the following week this year.
