Not the entire concert. 8 Songs only which were broadcasted on Canal+ in 2003. 01: Angel 02: Rising Son 03: Teardrop 04: Karmacoma 05: Hymn Of The Big Wheel 06: Safe From Harm 07: Unfinished Sympathy 08: Group Four
The best concert I`ve ever seen - massive attack...I was on 2000-3000 concerts in my life, (fan of Zeppelin, RHCP, Floyd,Tool - mainly rock...), as lighting designer, technician and visitor.... But 2009, Zagreb, Croatia, Massive Attack - blown me away...And I attend concerts since 1981...
My dad took me to see them when I was 16 and he was 40, and it blew my mind. 13 years later and they're still my favourite band and can't imagine anyone else topping the list. Monopoly and properly kissed.
Massive Attack are simply on another level. They have tapped into something that penetrates the soul and every live performance feels like a gift. This is absolute perfection.
What a fantastic night! Every song was beautifully performed! How I wish the new generations could pay attention to a little of this quality, instead of the trash that has become popular.
@@fabianwinter52 nah, I do listen to new music, there are fantastic musicians and projects offering great quality music... Actually I'm always searching for new music. The thing is that reggaeton (which is absolute crap) has become the only thing available in the media... Crappy music and lyrics, not a bit of talent, they don't sing and they even have someone else to write their disgusting songs... So there's that.

30 for me as well at least lol. For me it wasn't middle school..more like being a senior in college 1990.. so that shows this band is and will continue to be timeless. Also thank you for reminding me I am getting old ;)
You just named my 3 favorite songs by the legendary Massive Attack. They're all such different songs stylistically & each brings up different memories... with Group Four rising to the top like an angel.
Me is like to Angel, Risingson, Inertia Creeps, Butterfly Caught, Karmacoma, Black Milk, Live With Me, Paradise Circus, Pray For Rain, Unfinished Sympathy
This is music is at an exalted level and likely to penetrate only a highly discerning audience. I’m simply elevated to a transcendental level by these timeless numbers!!
Mezzanine is one of my desert island discs. And this concert is sublime. Thanks for posting! Also, isn't it great to see the band's light show without being bothered by light from cellphones? Hell yes.
@@handsome-brute2666 you can bump in and casually hang out with your favorite musicians at a bar on random day, plus sometime get invited their literal house party is the best thing UK has to offer. Daddy G was extremely sweet and friendly guy
This Band deserves recognition over recognition, Grammy over Grammy, they’ve made history of 1990’s and theirs music doesn’t ages a bit, a second, isn’t amazing ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥👏🏿✌🏿
I've been watching and listening to Massive Attack ever since they come on the scene, and they have just put out even better material over the years,I must not forget the musicianship has been nothing but perfect, thank you Massive Attack for the enjoyment you have given me over the years, and that's coming from a 70 year old man. Regards, Doug Hughes, Williamstown, Australia
Was introduced to them in 1997 and can say they join only one other British band that give you something every time you listen to them . Now 26 years later I’m still stunned by the perfection of their live performances.
Where have I been all these years. I am a boomer but have never really listened to this band despite being aware of them for years. This is quite enthralling. Looks like I have a lot of catching up to do. I suspect it will be a great pleasure doing so.
I've seen Massive Attack many times in concert, and in AB (Ancienne Belgique) ten years after this concert. This place has an incredible sonority. It's a wonder to listen to this band in such a place.
This guys are heaven i tell you . its almost 25 years that they are at the top of my list .Over the world. Love massive attack . Teardrop was a great one. BRAVO¡¡
JJ, I flew my "forever" love to see them Orb and Utah Saints. It was the best tribute to inception of trance that I hooked her on at the Black Banana in Philly, even then I dragged her to Vatican Commandos. Also Teardrop is the kilter late night drive song especially if it comes on after Desperate Rumours. Though I still think Angel is so constantly playing transition to every moment .. KLF
Just bumped into this vid by accident. I was there and it genuinly was one of the best shows I have ever attended to. Good times ! Had no idea this vid was a thing. Thanks for posting ! Sweet memories !!!
Thank you for uploading this masterpiece of a performance. Big shout from The US. Loving Massive Attack and other darker trip hop acts like Portishead, Tricky, Unkle, HTDA, Allflaws
Thanks heaps. Fantastic sound - especially the bass is beyond anything I've ever heard before. Oh, and fantastic performances (but that is par for the course for this astonishing collective of musicians!)
They always do an amazing job recreating the original studio sound but the vocals on the original recordings of Elizabeth Fraser, Horace Andy and Tricky are still unmatched.
I was gonna say the same thing. They excel in recreating the original studio sound, but the vocals of Fraser, Andy and Tricky are indeed still unmatched live.
This gooes straight under my skin and into my brain cells blowing it all from the inside! Genious! And this lady's vocals are poisoning in the very best sense! Thank you for uploading!
Thank you for sharing Pascal. I went to the Nottingham show on this tour, felt sick afterwards as the bass was so loud. Good to see Mushroom on the Decks. Atb.
God I love this music! Sooooo much memories... In my young 20th I read the book Papillion and hear the sound of Massive Attack while reading... AWESOME!!! ❤❤❤
Merci beaucoup d'avoir mis ce concert en ligne. Cela fait des années que je le recherche. A l'époque, je l'avais enregistré sur VHS en noir et blanc. Et là, la restitution en numérique et le son sont parfaits. Bravo à vous.
So so so good!! Massiv, Portishead, Seven Beats, Thievery Corporation, Hugo kant is what we listen in Amsterdam (^_^) Thank you fore sharing, Greetings!
@@jensenacklese3049 But fore the last 2 years its a totally different world here!! The government closes everything on a regular base, becouse allot of people don't whant a vaccination!! In allot of countries the have already the 3 ore the 4 shot.. In Amsterdam we are still fighting against the first one!! It dussent matter what we believe.. We created our own happiness (^_^)
Massive Attack is well known, I know who they are and what sounds they put out. Vibes indeed... It would be something to see em live, That's something I've never experienced yet? However, seeing this footage, video, show is fucking awesome! The video istd self is rich in color and sound is damn good too. I think showing your shows live in HD or not does justice for any artist, band. I love to stumble across these shows that I've only wished to see but never have. Respect to Massive Attack & Horce Andy. Dub music is my passion and it's brought Massive Attack to my attention years ago. Nice Video...
