G'day Folks! Found this beautiful, big gold nugget, along with few others while metal detecting fort gold nuggets in Victoria using the mighty Minelab GPZ 7000. Hope you enjoy the vid, subscribe for more gold and thanks for watching!!
J... I joined the ounce club in 2006... detecting on someone else,s recent patch. I found a 5 grammer in the main patch area of numerous holes. Went up a slope about 100 metres away n there was a large scrape hole only a few inches deep. Got a signal and picked up a tack that was obviously thrown back in the hole. Wave my detector over it again n got another signal. About 2 more inches down out comes a 39.8 gram nugget. Palmer River Goldfields.
Warm water and toothpaste using a toothbrush makes gold look beautiful...... Congrats on the nuggets and the new twins !... A prosperous 2020 my friend...... from Manny In Arizona USA ......
Congratulations J Gold! Both on the kids and the great looking gold nugget. Glad to see you got out for a swing despite all that happens with a new family.
Cheers Dan! This parenting gig certainly isn't easy! Especially with twins! The missus knows i got gold fever so I can get out here and there. So you're stuck with me yet!! Cheers, JG
@@pcinfo1289 my understanding from a friend that lives in Australia, if it's hello 3ft deep in the dirt it's the Queen's gold. Otherwise you can keep it if you get it off of designated areas.
@@BusinessTravelVlogs actually australian gold is the purest in the world. it avarages from 21 to 23k . also this size piece doesn't go for weight, it will get at least price and a half just for the size.
Good to see you back out amongst the gold Jay, what a day well done. A big congrats on the twins, that's going to keep you and the wife busy, some magic times ahead, Cheers Peter T.
Sweet sound on the detector when you are over gold. Surprised you had time to make twins with a gold area like that around. Congrats on the nuggets and the new addition to your family! Really enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing.
Me too! I'm in Florida. We have no native gold here and that sucks! I never had the opportunity to do any real gold mining or metal detecting for gold nuggets but it's definitely on my bucket list!
Use 2 parts lemon ammonia and 1 part warm water in a glass. Put any jewelry, silver plated or gold nugget in the glass and stir no brushing is needed. I worked in a jewelry store charging 20 bucks to clean jewelry and it only took 1 minute of stirring to make a ring shine.
@@JayGoldNuggets His name is Atlas, and he raise his paw and give you a high five everytime you find a piece of gold :) Again its really nice to see you back!
@@JayGoldNuggets Im so sorry to hear that and i know the feeling..i also lost one to early (a labrador) i grow up with him and he was my everything back then, still miss him. I hope you and your family will be blessed with a new furry friend sometime soon again.
The gpz 7000 minelab is completely surpassed by the long ranks for gold which are efficient and 20 times faster and deeper than the gpz7000 is too expensive 8500 dollars !!! minelab technology has become obsessed with the search for gold !!!! I sold my minelab gpx7000 and I bought a Ger detect gold hunter 6 months ago and it is incredible and I bought it 3200 dollars in France for the Congo !!!! I am very happy!!!!!
*The Art Of Painting Rocks To Resemble Gold Nuggets* Here we find over on the side bar a whole swag of videos, put up by none other than that great artiste himself, Maximov Ro. Yessiree folks, here is a chap whose talent for painting rocks gold know no bounds. It must be said though, that he would have had to find a few genuine nuggets, in order to pay for the pallet loads of Gold Aerosol paint from his local Hardware store. The tonnage in "nuggets" he displays is legendary. Unfortunately we cannot ask him his technique , as conveniently he makes it a point to switch off comments, which of course is to quash all the 100% of comments that has sussed him out...
Nice. What are you running your setting at? You have that 7000 purring. Sensitivity, threshold, any audio smoothing. Gold mode. High yield/ difficult? Thanks for your help and answer in advance. Nice work.
Congrats on that massive nugget! I'd love to own an Australian whopper just like that one day! Going to Australia to gold hunt is definitely on the top of my bucket list! It's along way from Florida but Lord willing I'll make it one day! GL&HH!
Well done mate, you've earnt it and then some. Congratulations. You would've found all of those using an older model GPX 4500 without mods. Beautiful Gold, keep up with your success, best wishes for you and family.
Cheers Rick, yeah i got lucky with these... even more so with my next vid!! The first metal detector ever made would have found it!!! Stay tuned. Cheers JG
Nice piece jay. Gotta be close to the source. That nugget has barely travelled. Cheers from far north queensland. Still waiting for the wet season to finish up here before i get out again.

GemQ1 Mate, I’ll need a 50 ouncer with the amount of nappies we go through! Hopefully they’ll return the favour and change my nappy when I’m an old bugger.... I doubt it hahaha. Cheers mate.
Damn. I'm not sure how often finds like this take place, but every time I watch a prospecting video from Australia it seems like half oz nuggets run rampant! Kinda makes me want to take a month or so off to visit and just have fun
Congratulations on the kids and the nuggets mate.I have twins that are fourteen years old hope everything goes well with them.I would love to get a detector and find some gold one day
Thanks for the reply.I look into getting one but I will need to get over to Victoria to get the gold because I don’t think there is much gold in South Australia
