I felt the same about Book Lovers, but I have been listening to Funny Story and Happy Place on Spotify/Hoopla and they’re really good so far especially Funny Story.

Sad you’re getting rid of Beach Read! It’s my favorite Emily Henry along with Happy Place. I think both are based more in reality and I thought you would enjoy them after reading some Abby Jimenez that you’ve recommended. I think Book Lovers, people we meet on vacation and even funny story are kind if more fantastical in their romance by which I mean you have to suspend disbelief more for their situations. Which is why I think Henry is polarizing with her books, some are very real situations, some are less so.

I know, I ALMOST didnt put it in this video... I actually "unhauled" beach read in my last unhaul video, but kept it because I thought I might actually like it/read it... but i just dont think I'll get around to it.

lol thats what I was going for with the peace sign. 😏 I also was too lazy to fix my tripod so my camera angle is really high. hahaha...
