CC is the only player to bring the crowd & once the Fever is eliminated the views will tank. No other player can bring the crowd like CC can. 😏

The wnba would have been wise to capitalize on Caitlin Clark’s first playoff appearance, but as usual they dropped the ball. They allowed her to get mauled by the sun goons, scratched and clawed by Edward scissor hand Carrington. That game stunk. They think people wanted to see that? After the fever game I didn’t even want the watch the rest. You have to let the refs protect your face of the league, not give unfair calls but atleast call the ones that happened.

If the Fever gets eliminated Wednesday. I’ll will eliminate myself from watching the rest of this garbage, prison ball league!

The WNBA were not prepared for Caitlin Clark. They underestimated her and all of her fan base (which is probably larger than what their whole league had). What Clark has done is brought a media spotlight on the WNBA that has revealed their dysfunctional organization, the poor refereeing, the bad playing, and their petty cattiness to the eyes of the millions of people. This is another reason for the difference of viewership of the Fever and the rest of the league.

I think more people learned what garbage this league is. I think ratings will really stink if fever go out

Fever new President first day on the job needs to fire Dunn and Sides and staff. They been pretty quiet through all the attempted take outs of CC. Then she needs to say we will build this team around CC. Also with Boston in mind and KM if she chooses to stay. Next thing she needs to release NaLyssa Smith. Are the WNBA, ESPN and the Players, that dense that they would literally poke in the eye their best hope of bringing in the real money?

I am almost glad this is over for the year. This has been a battle of good versus evil. Amazed how many people back pure evil these days. How the establishment just steps aside and allow it to happen. Adam Silver needs to step in with the owners of this league and remove the poison. Players who try to hurt other players should get suspended for the remaining of the year first offense. Second offense lifetime suspension.

Media feeds on drama, unfortunately because that is what people, in general, are drawn to. Morality, ethics, sportmanship and skill based play is what the W needs, but I don't see it happening.

I'm looking at tomorrow night's Fever-Sun game as a win-win. Fever win we get one more game with CC. Fever lose we watch the fallout as this league shrinks back into oblivion.

Hey I give up...this is my entertainment dollar not theirs. They want me back start with making the WNBA a real sport with real refs and a real front office. If not hey I lived without basketball for many years I'm sure I do without for many more years.

I can see players ask that Fever games not be moved to larger venues in an attempt to hide the drastic increase in attendance that Clark brings in. If you took the Sun, Sky and Wings and only had that type of percentage growth, it would be so much easier to hide the growth and attention Clark has had on the league.

If they are serious about bringing fans back next year (and I'm not sure they care) they need to hold players, coaches, refs and either replace Cathy Engelbert or make her accountable for all the obvious bush league BS going on from top to bottom and you all know what I'm talking about. Impressive as the attendance figures for the Fever are, none of us are surprised. The separation between Fever and non Fever games only supports what we’ve known all season, it’s Caitlin Clark! If the WNBA actually uses this information in promoting the league next season, still needs to be seen.

One thing WNBA needs to fix is the League streaming service. I compared a game on ION vs League and the ION game ended 38 minutes sooner than the League Pass game due to stream buffering over a Fiber Optic line. Invariably the buffering would happen during a key moment, e.g. mid shot or likewise causing a dramatic rise in blood pressure and release of numerous expletives. Not acceptable.

If you haven't figured this out yet, the league isn't going to change. They don't want Clark and they don't care about the repercussions. Sounds stupid but look at the deafening silence from the eye poke. She's not going along with their agenda. Either she does and you’ll see change, or she sticks and nothing changes.

The Clark effect didn't carry over because the WNBA et al have bent over backwards to alienate the new viewers.

The new Fever president will most likely do some house cleaning in management, i.e., Dunn/Sides, and players, Smith and Berger for starters. The effect will be a "NEW AND IMPROVED" Fever team for 2025 thereby guaranteeing more viewers.

But after this circus of a season, and how the league is, I make sure I don't click on any of those videos any more. "We don't want these new fans around" they say. Okay then.
