One of my Mom's students can't afford clothes right now, so I gave her three bags worth of my clothes and she was SO HAPPY! It was all worth it to see her feel good about herself.
to anyone reading this: the size of your clothes does not define you. you should never feel ashamed about the size you wear. as a size 12, I have finally realized that my size in clothes is just what will flatter me the best! every body is unique, and every body is beautiful. life is so much easier once you fall in love with the body you are in.
The hardest part for me was getting rid of my size 2-4 pants when I grew hips and am now a size 6. It was a big step in my Ed recovery but I’m glad I did it because they were my inspiration pants and I thought one day I would fit in them again but I just had to accept my body and sell them. Anywayyyyy sorry I’m a Debbie downer bye ❤️

I literally cannot express how helpful it is for me when you talk about growing out of things, i’m trying to overcome the mindset that I should just change myself to make things fit me.
if u wanna keep clothes that have sentimental value, but don’t want them in ur closet, form a memory box!! grab a big bin, put that stuff in there, and just shove it under ur bed or smt
i hope that when you do ur room makeover you have a bookshelf. it doesn’t seem like a cute and aesthetic thing to have but- it makes your room les like a basic pinterest board and more like an actual home a that is full of the things that YOU love. Just a suggestion ☺️. Love the video x
ava i can’t thank you enough for what you said in this video. what you said about your body growing and loving it really inspired me to stop squeezing into jeans that don’t fit and making myself feel sad cause i can’t fit into any of my clothes anymore. for a long time i refused to buy new clothes until i lost weight but you inspired me to just love who i am now and embrace who i am and thanks to you i am now buying new clothes and loving my body again for the first time in a very long time. i love you, and thank you so much.
the 2 minutes when you were talking about body positivity it helped me a lot even in that short space of time because I’ve been struggling recently with food and my body and so you make me realise that life is too short to worry about food and what your body looks like because it’s important to take care of yourself and have the bit of exercise but you need to put the fuel back in . u need the energy points out of foods so u can keep living every day , thank u ava :)))

Honestly ava , everything about this video was so relatable. I am 18 now and I look at myself when I was 15 ans think back why did I even think I was Fat when I wasn't. And I keep on clothes so see oh yes even if they are a little light I will.keep them so they fit me. i loved when you talked about weight changing because the reality is that as women we have hormones, we get bloated, etc. on a side note, i was at work yesterday in my favorite pair of jeans. i squatted down and they ripped at the knee. i was sad but i realized I've been working out and my thighs/legs must be getting more muscular! just remember - there is always a positive to the negative
I have this pair of shorts that I bought last year that fit me last year and I have been holding onto them even though they do not fit me anymore, In hopes that they eventually will. This video helped me gain the confidence I need to just get rid of them. Thank you ♥️
Ava if there is anything you know you won’t or can’t wear again, maybe think about making a t-shirt quilt! That way it all goes to something productive that you can keep and it doesn’t take up room in your closet! It makes it so you can keep the clothes without actually having to wear them
Your mentality towards clothing is just so amazing. When you said something doesn’t fit you any more you didn’t sit there and let it bug you. You move on and continue with your life
Thank you for having such a positive outlook on how bodies change! I used to obsess over fitting into a skirt that fit when I was 15 (I'm not 23) and the fact that I had such a huge expectation to stay a size 0 was so toxic.

you should turn your old t-shirts into a quilt!! i hoarded a bunch of them for nostalgia’s sake & my mom had them made into a quilt :) they dont take up closet/drawer space but you still get to keep the mems
The best advice I can give to anyone decluttering stuff, is to take it all out before u start. Visualizing how much stuff you have will overwhelm you at first but that picture will also motivate you to get rid of the “what ifs” section

I love watching decluttering videos. A great tip to declutter a lot easier is to turn all the hangers backwards. After you worn an item and it goes back into your closet you turn the hanger facing the right way. After some time you can see which items you worn and which items you have not touched.☺️🌼 Maybe I can help someone with this trick:)

My life goal from when i can remember was to visit Hawaii!! I loved Lilo&Stitch ,fell in love with music dance and nature. When i got a bit older bought an ukulele. I don't know whyy, but there is some sort oh happiness i connect with hawaii. And you give the same energy!
