You're one of the bigger drone channels on RU-vid so please make a call to action video before June 12th for all DJI flyers to write or call in about this DJI ban bill they are trying to pass! People need to be aware and taking action and the best way is for all the big RU-vidrs to make a call to action video! This is so urgent!
If doing it through the app,remember to go into the fly app first,your profile,then ABOUT,then update the version of the fly app,otherwise, the firmware update may not be visible to update. Nothing with DJI is easy or straightforward, it seems.
Nice. What about the other way round? Are the goggles/controller 3 now compatible with the older Air Units (2?) l have a small cinewoom with the previous version of the Air Unit that is not compatible with the new Goggles or Controller :(
Question, What do you think about DJI drones being banned in the U.S? And for those who bought products from DJI, are we not allowed to fly them in the U.S once the bill pass?
DJI one more time shooting the selves in the foot with the update, they should make it backwards compatible not forwards compatible, the point is for people to be able to upgrade their gear and still use it with their older gear, not the other way around. All they need is O3 support on new goggles 3 and controller 3, and I bet you a lot more people like myself would be buying the new avata2... I have 6 quads with O3, but I still fly with the big goggles v2 and the big black square controller... I'd love to be able to upgrade to the smaller goggles 3 and controller and fly with my o3 quads, and the new avata 2 would be a great addition to my drone collection as its flight time is way better than my other FPV quads...
It depends if the one you buy left the factory before or after the update… I would say if you ‘right’ now you have a fair chance that you have to do the update… but it’s really easy and fast
I just looked at the release notes and it is only showing 300 as the latest and what is being shown here. When he shows the firmware sheet at the beginning 0:09 seconds it shows that the Avata firmware is 300. I wonder if content creaters are getting a different/beta version?
Most of the other content creator’s are showing .209 so I wonder if they got a beta version. Also note that @0:09 seconds he shows the firmware version list it shows .300 for the Avata 2.
