Thanks for taking the time to do this, Dana! This was EXTREMELY helpful and informative. I use the Soap & Glory balm (agree 100% with your assessment--works really well, but does leave a film on your eyes which needs to be gently flushed out). It's the only cleansing balm I've ever tried and I'm almost finished with it, so this video couldn't have come at a better time. Definitely want to try the Inky List balm!

I tried juno and have allot if dark spots i deal with horrible melanin my daughter told me to try it i was so amazed how bright my skin looked and dark spots were amazingly less visible..i have tried so many products and nothing worked. THIS IS A MIRACLE FOR ME!! Just thought id post for those who have dark spots melanin...I've ordered my own cant wait till it arrves!
Great reviews! I’ve tried a majority of the ones on your list. My all time favourite, is TIL OAT Cleansing balm. So good and the cost is awesome. Love that it can double as a hydrating mask. Doesn’t get any better IMO 🙂
I'm almost out of the inkey list's oat cleansing balm, and because of your video I'm trying the cocokind, so i really appreciate your thorough review! Because it's so tried and true I also got the ponds cold cream, but I picked up the white jar with a sea foam green lid which I hear most people talk about.

I loveeeeee the Ponds Cold Cream. Much more even than Inkey!! Hey .. grandmas were rock chicks 😎 I have oily skin and the Ponds Cold Cream is the only thing that doesn't make me GREASIER ... Lovely video!!
Hi Dana, what is your opinion on The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Balm? I wanted to love The Inkey List Oat Cleanser like you did, but I think mine had a slightly rancid-ish smell and left an heavy oily residue on my face 🤷🏼♀️
The Versed one is really good! I love it, but the only downside is the eucalyptus scent is pretty strong… it stings my eyes a bit ☹️If they make one without that oil, it’d be perfect for me.
Great video! My favorite is the inkey list cleansing balm. It’s last so long! I also use the dermalogica Precleanse, Bubble Wipe out Makeup remover, and the Item Beauty cleansing balm.
I have been looking for someone to talk about the new Juno & co and the inkey list cleansers in the same video to compare. I have been using inkey list oat cleanser for years and it’s my favorite, but am curious about the Juno & co cleanser since it’s become so popular. I think i will continue with using the inkey list 😊 thank you
I get confused with these cleansing balms. Can you just wipe it off with a wet washcloth and you are done? Or do you still need to use a different facial cleanser after as well?
A little late here but I hope still helpful, yes you should use a normal cleanser after these. The idea is to take off your makeup/oils/dirt that builds through the day and also give an extra layer I guess between a cleanser so it’s not so stripping.

Hmmmm I can’t say with 100% certainty bc I don’t ever use waterproof makeup, but I have found cleansing balms to work the best for most long-wearing makeup
I love how you organized this video. There are a few you tubers I like but I hate how "messy" their videos are. Also, i know it's not a balm, but I love Burt's Bees cleansing oil. I have very dry and sensitive skin (I just splurged on Sisley's concealer only to break out in hives :-( ) and I must say, while I don't like all of the Burt's bees products I really find the cleansing oil to be the best of all cleansing products I've used. Having said that, I'm tempted to try to Inkey one and your brand. Thank you for doing this.
@@DanaRipperton Thanks for recommending the Glossier balm. I'd never get it. I've heard Glossier is only good for young 20 year old skin. I really like this recovery balm. (but it doesn't work under make up :-) too heavy and causes creasing). It is my new "after hot yoga" night cream though. Thank you so much.
I have the Good Molecules cleansing balm and it doesn’t have a scent? Maybe they have reformulated. Also it comes in a tin now instead of a plastic tub.
Hmmm what do you mean by waterproof makeup? Waterproof mascara? If so, I only wear tubing mascara and never waterproof, so I don’t know. Otherwise, yes, this takes off all normal makeup
