Massive EF-4 Tornado NW of Omaha, Nebraska April 2024 

On August 1st, 2024, the National Weather Service Omaha upgraded the damage rating of the devastating April 26th tornado. It is now classified as an EF-4 with 170mph winds. That's equivalent to a category 5 hurricane. The twister carved a path 31.2 miles long.
