It drives me nuts when a seller says they don't know or don't care and want to give you a deal but they do know and they want to split whatever profit you might be able to get in half. They don't want to clean it, they don't want to list it, they don't want to ship it, they don't want to do any of the work involved, but, they want half the profits. Nickels and dimes you through the whole procedure. No one ever shows any respect for the amount of hours of work that goes into owning your own business and trying to make profit at it. And it's in every kind of business there is. Sellers like this want to make you do all the work but they want you to do it for free in order to see any profit. If he wanted to make more money he could have straightened all that stuff and sorted it last night after he knew you were coming and made it look better and have maybe gotten more money by putting some work in.

So aggravating to have to pull a price out of a seller like pulling teeth!! Meanwhile, how many times did he say “I have no idea what those are worth” only to turn right around and say “ those sell all day long on eBay for __” or “No, can’t accept that. There’s one in there that sells for over ___”. He knew exactly what he had. He encouraged lowball offers (if it doesn’t sell today everything tomorrow is free! I just want to get rid of it) and acted insulted at every offer. Grrrrrr🤦🏻‍♀️

If it's clothing or something not electronic you can put it in a zip lock bag in the freezer for a few days to get rid of the smell.

No I think the shaking was coming from trying to get everything really cheap,When you start offering a buck and like thirty dollars for the drum set and guitar when the guy knew it brought pretty good money,You can’t do that,It’s better to pay up a little because if you treat someone good then they’re more likely to call you when they get other stuff again,If he would of said no thirty bucks is to cheap you would have seen them offer more, And the whispering around got me,like they didn’t want him to hear on some of the stuff, I think that’s where the shaking came from,His nerves

As a professor of finance who teaches E Commerce classes... People don't (want) "free shipping"... That is the biggest fallacy in re-selling... People want to know where their money is allocated... It also allows them to hold the seller accountable for improper shipping methods... I paid $20 w/FS, YOU get to decide how it ships... If I pay 10/10, then there is an expectation against the $10 I am giving you to give to the 3PL to ship the item to me... (ie PWE vs BMWT) Also I don't think you know what the term "holy grail" applies to... It's an industry wide item that is considered the cream... Don't confuse Holy Grail with White Whale... Or just a BOLO...

My OCD can’t handle when you put stuff aside in a pile near other stuff. When you are potentially buying a lot of stuff, please look for a box so you can place it all in. It keeps it organized, claims your pile from other sellers, and just is easy to take w you once your done.

boxes sell for more than the games itself. lots of games left over but the box is made of paper usually the first to get thrown in the trash. I paid a dollar for some nes boxes and surprised that one sells complete for about $600

Like i do some reselling myself and i remember a few years ago i had a ton of games that i wanted to get rid of i prolly had over 600 games. Well me my mom and my brother decided to have a big yard sale so the week before we had a yardsale i went online and checked one by one what all my games were worth and any game that was worth 5 dollars or more after shipping and fees were taken out i kept and fidnt put out at the yardsale. So basically i only put games out thAt were worth only 2 or 3 dollars. But when we were out there we had alot of people going thru the totes of games and i overheard some people saying that these games are only eorth a few dollars and i dont think they were happy because with all the games i had i think they thought yhey would find lots of stuff worth money lol. They dodnt know that all yhe games worth money were in my house and i had gamecube games and pokemon games and ps1 games worth real good money sitting in the house.

As someone who only flips what I collect to fund my collections (video games, Pokemon, and MtG) that Pokemon Center GBA box is a dream find. One of the top 5 video game things I'm looking for (complete but even box only is great) but could never pay the Ebay prices for it. Getting it in a lot for only a little over $100 is crazy.
