Great information Ed!

This seems like something that should be mandated for commercial buildings. Imagine what it would do for the environment if even 25% of buildings did this. 🤔

Inside working is better than outside in the cold. Has to be 21F out by you in St. Charles, Saturday morning. Tea and a great video by Professor Ed.

Totally awesome,Ed! More pluses than minuses. To bad more buildings aren't like this. Plus a cool idea is adding plants to the exterior walls of buildings. Especially high rise in cities.

Thanks again for the education. I increasingly love learning about this. Can't wait for part 2! There's a game that I love to play called City Skylines. I want to see if I can implement some of this and see how the simulation behaves to help solidify this knowledge in my mind. I have a question for you Ed. I am a software engineer. How can I apply my software development skills to help improve ecology? Simulations definitely come to mind, but I am trying to think beyond that. Thanks again.

What kinds of plants should be up there? Wouldn’t some plants roots grow through it all? What is a sedum

That dead zone is huge. Doesn't help that Monsanto puts pesticides in the seeds. Severe birth defects in Hawaii

Sedum though?
