In this video I create and share with you how to draw a massive mandala on an interior wall, without use of a projector, using a one meter ruler and small pin...
Created with the 3rd eye in mind, this is my first documented mandala wall mural. Made for Bedroom. Was made over the period of a few months as it was done in the little spare time I had, with no deadline.
A lot happened between the beginning and end of this mandala mural, things that tested my inner strength and perspectives on life. So to me this piece symbolises more than just my geometric interpretation of the third eye. It represents a deeper understanding about my inner self and an ability to detach from emotions when required. This mandala was free-handed with no real plan.

It’s so amazing.I am Tibetan and I have seen our monks doing it during our rituals(sand painting)it always seems so fascinating yet so difficult,but it looks so easy when u do it(I am sure it’s not easy)I wish I can learn this from u(the tricks and technique)of course it will take a lot of dedication and patience. Anyway thank for showing a different way of it..

My advice is just have fun with it, allow yourself to create naturally and you will find yourself and your flow. Be happy to make mistakes also as they lead you to new ideas and perspectives 🙂

Hey bro! Ever just try s projector? You can pick them up used and pretty cheap. You can transfer any pattern to the surface, control the scale in with you’d like to use and then just trace onto your wall etc. just a thought either way respect and beautiful work and kudos for putting yourself out there

Hey man! Yes indeed, in fact I picked one up not so long ago for other wall murals and yes, it is a massive time saver. I used sharpies to begin with. but i found the sharpie tips would dry out after about 20 mins. So i switched to ProMarkers. More expensive but good quality :)

Thank You! 😁 I say go for it. This is my first Mandela wall mural and I loved every second. To draw guidelines I simply find the very centre of the wall, bang a tiny nail into it, get my 2 meter ruler and connect it to the nail (ruler has hole in the end), measure the distance between every circle for base guides and simply hold in my desired measure ment and carry the pencil with the ruler on exact measurement to create perfect circles.. the rest is free hand other than measuring distance between each patch of detailing.. I just use faint pencil lines and an ordinary eraser to erase guidelines. sorry if that sounds complicated! It's hard to explain in few words! Thank you for watching and good luck with yours!
