In this Sons of the Forest patch notes video I'll be showing you all the Sons of the Forest updates that came with patch 01. There's the new Sons of the Forest hang glider location to find in the mountains, they also added the actual Sons of the Forest defensive wall gate. Another major thing is the Sons of the Forest door lock feature that was added, as well as the Sons of the Forest roof gaps can be fixed now.
There were tons of new things added, these Sons of the Forest changes are massive. The entire Sons of the Forest building system saw some updates with a few of the major Sons of the Forest bugs that were plaguing it, like not being able to place beams in places you should otherwise be able to place them. This Sons of the Forest developer update video will show you what they changed and added in the new Sons of the Forest patch. All you have to do is close your game and reopen it to download Sons of the Forest 01.

Sleep cooldown is great. People skipping winter are skipping aspects of the game designed to be inconveniences you need to tackle

It is possible to build in the sea on the border where it is still possible to stand and where the character is already swimming. I started, slowly but surely.

Cool vid, thanks! Hang glider can also be found on a mountainside on the NW part of map near a beach. Muddy cannibals are the ones that crawl around on the ground and hide in bushes. We need an update to stop the worm creatures from moving through walls and structures.

Ok so now split wood makes the fire useful. Problem is.. that it last for 20 seconds and you need to light fire twice to cook food if it doesn't glitch and you lose all food. Lock door works.. but Brutes can now glitch through fly traps now and mess your base up. Yarrow plant now gives you less hydration.. still no turtle shell water catcher. Can't drink from a river with spear in hand. They need a hot fix to at least fix the fire pit so when you split wood and add..it should last for 1 hour game time. Winter is now a nightmare all in itself. Caterpillar is op and still glitches through walls and spear spikes. I had to log off early just because the fire pit is messed up really bad.

There is a bug on mutiplayer where when you break down a log holder, the other player sees the pre-built of it stuck in their hand.

I don't think so but that's a great idea! Was thinking the same. We need more uses for those. I would love to be able to use one to name specific locations on the map.

@@indmur It's a neat mechanic since you have to find the trackers and there are a limited number of them. If you pick one off of a dead body logic would suggest you should be able to leave it anywhere on the map as a reference.
