@@ThePopComplex The fact they’re all scaled to one another is awesome, I wanna get the evolutions of Gengar but it seems Haunter gets resold for way more than you’d usually pay for it.
Please PLEASE take my advice from someone eho is 37 and grew up playing original series magic the gathering and pokemon cards: these things skyrocket in value if kept in mint, sealed condition. It makes me sick knowing i could have retired on things i already owned
This is a great review! I started collecting some of the battle figures recently. My favorites of the ones I've collected so far have been Larvitar and Morpeko (hangry mode). Thank you for going over each figure's articulation and poses, because when I buy these that's specifically what I look for.
I remember when I was 10, my dream was to have the 1st 151 Pokémon, so I did some clay pokémon, since 1999 I did not have money to buy my dolls! Now, I am 34 and I was thinking about to start to make my dream come true xD
Nice! I almost thought about picking up Lugia because that group of new Pokémon was just starting to arrive on the scene while I was still collecting back in ‘01/‘02 but I’ve told myself that I’m sticking to the original 151 Kanto only.
This video is awesome my collection is growing and this was awesome! I am getting all the kanto starters and evolutions and am waiting for the final evolutions to arrive!
Cool unboxing. Your comment about only getting kanto Pokemon makes me wonder how many of the first generation Pokémon that jazzwares have made? I’m a huge fan of large unboxing videos.
Currently, it would be all the Kanto Pokémon you see in my video plus Vulpix, Raichu, Abra, Gastly, Pidgeot, Tauros, Aerodactyl, Machop, Zubat, and Growlithe.
Great question. Some of them do and some do not. Probably the Charizard or the Legendary Birds, but I saw a Select Jigglypuff the other day that is way too large for this line.
@@ThePopComplex I see thanks! I just ordered the select eevee evolution set and wanted to know if I could get the rest of the evolutions from this line to scale
In other people's opinion, should I leave my pokemon inside their boxes or open them??? I'm unsure of what I want to do and I just bought Dragonite and Gyrados. I just don't want to make a mistake and open them when they're rare and sought after.
Honestly since toys and videogames i like WILL be collectible i dont buy anything unless i buy a copy and bury it (literally). Have you seen the marvel titan or dc batman 10-12" figures? Theyre amazing same with the mario and sonic figures. Seal one ad bury it, play with the other you might strike gold lol
It's a pity that the proportions of the sizes were not preserved. Some of these Pokemon should be bigger. Charizard and Blastoise should be bigger or Venusaur should be smaller.
I try to catch these as they first come out because I’ve seen some of the third party prices of them now and they are ridiculously expensive. I still need Tauros, Pidgeot and Aerodactyl.
Im only a fan of the original too being 37 Lol! I might collect the whole set as well for sketching and 3d modeling but i imagine kept sealed these may skyrocket in 20-30 years. Hey super mario 64 sealed sold for 1 mil didnt ee all have that in mint condition for $40 back in 1996 anything is possible
It's ok, no offense. I didn't want to attack you personally. I'd just like to see how tall the figures are. Maybe you could integrate a section in you videos, where you show with a tape measure how tall the individual figures are you review. It would help a lot people, trust me! :) Anyway- thanks for your videos. Keep up the good work 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Best to you- greetings from Germany :)
Charizard is in proportion with the rest of the Pokémon. That new Select Charizard is from a different line of figures so he’s not going to be in scale with these.
