We went deep inside this huge river cave right off the side of a road. Go check out @CantrellCaving channel and our second channel @ActionAdventureClips for more caving content
That was an awesome cave adventure. It had me shivering a little. I always recall where and when the water went over the small of my back and hit the underside of my chin. We appreciate the way the wet crawls weed out the vandals and tagger losers, even at the side of the road. Incredible. Most, if not all before you left that cave so it seemed like a first time discovery for you. I would definitely be checking and rechecking the rain forecast before entering that storm sewer. You two work well together, always positive, pushing each other gently and considerately, laughing and exclaiming all the way. It's no fun if no one is laughing. Thanks a million from a salty old wet caver from the 60's and 70's.
As a 51yo I watch this as if I were still 20-something able and willing to do this. I’m extremely claustrophobic and my legs and hips are broken down but this is stuff I wish I could have done back then but am smart enough not to even try. Keep it up bother. 💪💪👍🏻
id love to do this too, im not a phobia of it, but it is possible to get trapped which is logical, if i did this as a hobby id have some pills on me to take thatll end it for me if im stuck for longer than 12 hours
Most or better nearly all caves are mapped and also have some exit signs in there. The guys don't just drive by and say hey there is a cave we just found. 😁 GPS won't work underground, because of loss of satellite signal. If you're really down there to explore with a group, you have an intercom system with a telephone line to the surface. 😁
@@CRAVTBOARD Actually, a lot of caving trips begin just as you say they don't. Usually its hiking, not driving. But going into a cave unknown to you, one you just happen across, is how a lot of cave trips begin. Like you say, most caves have already been explored, unless you are in a very remote area. But leaving permanent exit signs is frowned upon. You rely on your memory to find your way out. The cave in this video is not especially complex. Water flow is one sign of direction and there are notable landmarks, like the 2 waterfalls. It helps if you pause and look backwards periodically to imprint their appearance in your mind. Setting up cairns, then knocking them down on your way out is controversial for some reason. They are not permanent and don't deface the cave.
You guys set off my claustraphopia big-time, bit I just cant stop watching. Im a large man so ive gotten myself into some predicaments at times so i stopped caving. Thanks for the adventure. 💖
When we lived in the Carolinas we used to walk 10 miles a day on long stretches of highway and desolate contey roads collecting scrap and picking up trash. It was fulfilling in so many ways! We got fresh air and excersise, collected large amounts of scrap each day, cleaned up the beautiful landscape, found antiques dumped long ago and we saw amazing things in nature that noone ever saw...like this cave...❤❤️🥰
I say it every video. You boys are crazy. Lol. I would not have been able to go under that low belly crawl with water. I do wonder if you made enough turns to end up going underneath the road. That would be crazy if you're just under the road and cars are driving above you and not even knowing there's two crazy people under them in a cave. What a cool place. Thanks for sharing your adventures. It's always fun to watch.
@@tag_caver where is this? This is amazing. I'm not in good health for this currently, but not giving up on recovering, and having some more adventures. I would be so scared of getting lost, but it still looks like a lot of fun.
Groping your way through the secret galleries of subterranean Earth to discover hidden places that no one has ever seen before! What thrilling lives you guys get to live! I often dreamed of adventures like this, having only descended into a wild cave once in my life! Your videos bring back that intoxicating urge to see what lies beyond in the darkness unknown!
I take my hat off to you too I could hardly breathe there when you guys hit a dead end. So happy you two made it out! Life is so precious live it don't put yourselves in harm way like that. Camera guy you were starting to breathe really hard towards the deadend in that cave it's a miracle you made it out alive. I wouldn't go explore anymore caves if I were you.
I don't think I'd be able to resist taking some interesting rocks or fossils out of these caves. I'm no geologist but some of them looked like quartz or marble, love the geodes too. Fascinating stuff, I'd spend way too much time with the rocks lol
I love spelunking! It gets really challenging when you have to swim underwater through cave passages hunting for air pockets or small, large or huge breaks in the rock ceiling to find new gigantic rooms with utterly amazing structures words can barely describe. We didn't have high tech, high output, low energy consumption LED lights either.
I really enjoyed this journey. And I admit I am fascinated and envious of the strength and confidence you guys show in exploring such places as this cave. How would you have gotten out if your batteries on your lights die or malfunction? Such a cave must be pitch black without your lights. Great job and thanks for sharing! You guys rock!!!
I’m really envious of you guys! Such an awesome cave. What state? Im kinda too old to start another hobby, especially one that’s physically strenuous, wish I had seen a video like this when I was 20 or 30! (I’m 74) Be safe guys. I gotta subscribe to your channel! 😁
Such beautiful formations and water. This is indeed better than Disney for me. 6:25 and I'm feeling the ceiling pressing down in this cave. 1966 the year I was born. Now I feel old. 13:07 makes my knees ache in sympathy. WHOA beautiful geode there.
great adventure guys! Thanks for taking us along! Would loved to have heard some of the info in the cave log. Is there a reason you didn't say anything about the contents? Keep up the travels and be safe!
in the time from of 0800 to 0815 as you guys were crawling up the rock i had a split second shock because I swore I thought your light caught something move up ahead of you but then just a few seconds later I realized it was the shadow being cast of the lead climber due to the lite of the trailing climber. Love your videos.
Man this cave more than most looks really familiar to me. Especially that giant room at 8:21 and that flowing river at 15:03. Not saying these are the same spots, but they look really really close.
@@tristanholland6445 I'm not that up on the titles of videos on this channel to point out which ones I mean, but I did mean over videos from actionadventuretwins
To think in 50+ years this cave could collapse and these kind of videos are the last known footage. This is why I still look for caves. You never know who will be the last to step foot in a passage or room
Wow, I envy you guys for being so brave and adventurous! My thing is fear of heights. When you guys would go up or down, it gave me sweaty palms! I was afraid one of you might fall. Are you prepared for something like that? But anyway, it was beautiful, the water looked so clear. I will live vicariously through you, because I'm too chicken to do stuff like that. Thanks for sharing!
Id be interested to see the relation to being underground vs above ground. Possibly show on a map where you are in a cave and how far the surface ground was actually trekked. Also, this is the cave with water i see when I go to my happy place.❤
Am I the only person who finds that journeying into a video journey into a cave speaks to something deep within me. It speaks to the subconscious! A plus to all this is the fun, adventuresome spirit of the narrator and his appreciation of the beauty of nature. I am now doing several caves of theirs a night.
I love your videos! They are so interesting, I always had an interest in caves and I really love stones and geodes.I'm amazed at how you get through them so well, but I can tell you guys have been doing it for a while. Thank you for sharing your adventures, they are really incredibly fascinating.
Ones again thanks for an awesome video no matter how many times I watched your guises adventures. Every cave has its beauty. Thanks for sharing. Be safe 👍
You guys are livin' the dream! My dream anyway. At 69, I'd like rewind the clock to 20, learn how to use ropes and move to Alabama, (or Georgia or whatever state you guys are in). These caves are incredible!
I was so caught up in your journey into that cave I shared really fast with my brother than just hung all the way to the end. Absolutely amazing and extremely interesting. You guys did fantastic with visual and oral ❤I absolutely loved it think I'm on a binge 👀 😂
Adventures like this usually are on the evening news as cave rescue.Just by chance come across a cave, not prepared for where or how far ,cell phones likely no service, if they even have enough battery life.
Damn that was cool. How could you just skip over the cave log footage like that! I wanna know!Good stuff though! Creeping through those water cave maze was like it could be a level on the backrooms. Next time when you are going into a watery cave expect to need a wetsuit!
To bad no million dollars in the can. Was the book a log of some kind? Did you guys sign it? Wonderful video excellent camera, lighting, and sound. You make it look so easy. I felt like I was right there with you guys. Outstanding and thanks,
After entering the cave, you turned left and went up the little waterfall instead of trying what looked like a passage to the right. Are you going back to try it or did it not go anywhere?
Your channel is amazing to me because just seeing the entrances of the caves you get into, I'm like NOPE LOL. So with you guys I get to see what's inside! And you guys so obviously love what you do, and you're amazed by the beauty of it all and respect it for what it is. It's really fun to watch even though I sometimes skip the really tight spaces. 😂
My first thought was y'all were insane LOL and then I was worried you weren't marching your way in so you can find your way back out! This had to be the best caving video I've ever seen! I absolutely enjoyed every second of ! What awesome rock formations, that one triangle looking rock that was hanging from the ceiling , I don't know how that didn't fall on y'all's heads! How the hell was that thing hanging in there? The water was crystal clear and beautiful! Thank you for making the video seriously really did enjoy it!! I don't think I heard where this was located? But how beautiful!!! I'm glad y'all made it out safely!❤❤❤ I'm going to check out your other videos and live vicariously through you! I have multiple sclerosis and can barely get out of bed anymore so I enjoy these all that much more!
you guys and girls are brave beyond measure. I could never do what you do, although I would love to. I am always amazed and thankful how you find your way back out. also the way you push yourself to explore places that look to be impossible or flooded. I'm at your feet sir's.
One of my favorites so far. Dudes would you want to come out to Montana and explore one of the deepest caves in the world- In The Bob Marshall Wilderness?
another great one yall keep up the great content always a banger and always fun to watch and even better to do still say Im going to join you some time
Thank you dear friends , you are going so far to show all over the world Almighty God's Creation... it's so beautiful and wonderful. Praise God. May the Lord bless you and give you his strength to show us more beautiful things on this earth. God bless you
Now that social media / vlogs discovered. , who can never have any chance to reach these amazing places can also see it too Beautiful nature, thanks for sharing
I have an honest question about the boulders, I live around new orleans and we do not have caves. How come it looks like the rocks are just gonna tumble down on you and how do you know they wont? If it floods with water how do you get out? And finally cant the rocks fall and cut off your exit? I was dying the whole time watching and then watched it again
@@amandagodkin3296 1. Big suspended boulders have been in that position a vey long time. It's doubtful they will move. 2. If the cave floods you are dead. This is why you don't go in a water cave during or the day after a heavy rain. 3. Rocks can fall and cut off your exit. 4. Never cave alone, and always let someone know where you are going and when you expect to be out of the cave. If they don't hear from you a couple of hours after the deadline, they can call cave rescue. Remember, life has risks, and if done right you can lessen the risks. Go have some fun.😃
@@jostromp7380 It is in S.E. TN. I would contact a grotto group in that area and see if you can get hooked up with a member that is willing to take you there. Happy caving.
I can honestly say that I would never do that. You guys have big minds and hearts. I would have lost my breath soon as I would have gotten in it! Spray paint at end of the video laying on big stone when they come out and turns around.
