Massive Staph Infection Drainage 

I know this is the wrong part of the story to focus on, but orange bathrooms are a mistake.

Who else spent the majority of the video yelling "pull it out!"?

It never fails with this staph popping videos that friends/family members in the background are hella annoying. If it’s grossing you out that badly, go sit down somewhere!

I had the same kind on staph infection on my chin and it hurt more than anyone would believe. The key to draining it was to put a hot wet cloth on the site and let it sit for 10 minutes. That made the blood vessels expand and allowed the mass to come out easily. This guy could have saved himself a lot of pain with a hot, wet towel.

You need to have that removed in a sterile situation otherwise you'll spread the staphylococcus infection. Should also be tested to see if it's methicillin resistant staphylococcus (MRSA) which is highly contagious if the pus is touched by others or lands on an open scrape. It can also lead to septicemia especially in the jaw area.

Am I the only one who just wants to jump into the video and say “let me do it!”

Don't put videos up like this if you're not going to deliver.. Frustrating

Tools required, Bottle of Jack Daniel's, Pair of pliers, Pair of balls.

If that is a staph infection you need to be on antibiotics and then have a dermotogist remove it

FYI if anyone actually does have a staph infection PLEASE don't try to pop the sores yourself. Go to your doctor to get them properly drained. Staph infections are highly contagious and the fact that he's touching it (if it really is one) with bare hands makes me cringe.

I HATE it when people have these big pimples and they squeeze them ineffectually and dab at them going "it hurts oooh it hurts". Just wanna smack them and say SQUEEZE IT BEEOTCH. You could tell his friends wanted to as well.

That s a good friend to help you with this cyst (the smell bad). A late addition to your struggle but a great friend like this deserves recognition. Good wishes to you and your friend.

I had one of these in my 20s. Shaved with a dull enough razor and was working hard to keep my face clean shaved. One side of my neck swelled up and took part of my face with it. I ended up having to do hot compresses all day and gradually working the infection out until my face was flat.

I want to see what happened! I feel so robbed! I didn't get to see it through to the end. If I knew this in the beginning, I would never have watched it!

The best way to drain a wound like that is to apply a warm wet cloth for a couple of minutes. When the wound is soft, use your fingers to open the wound, don’t squeeze it like a pimple. The pus is under pressure so when you pull open the would, it drains very readily and usually all in one go. Considerably less painful than squeezing the wound closed and expecting something to come out painlessly.

I don't know what all the gagging and shouts of oh my god are about. We all know what comes out of these things , so why not give it one big squeeze and it won't hurt for long.

I’m not one to judge, but if you remotely believe that to be staph infection, you should seek medical care.

I had MRSA Spent 49 days in the hospital. People think there is relief draining it but not always sometimes the pain is horrible and the liquid can infect other open wounds which I sadly found out by accident after major hand surgery..

Dude. That's not a sac. It's a clump of hardened pus (sometimes called a plug). If you pulled it out, the infection would've drained like a dream. Glad you got it taken care of, though!

he made it worse by not just pulling out the chunk. squeezing with the chunk made it more sore and added pressure haha

To the haters and their comments. First of all, if you have never faced something like this before, you cannot judge anyone or the way they deal with it. Secondly, I think it does an excellent job, no matter if it needs to be removed. Yes, a professional would minimize scars and pain, but dermatologists are not cheap. And I would rather blow it up myself rather than having to pay a professional hundreds of dollars and have them enjoy doing it🤣 no way

This was very risky to do at home. My manager did this in the same spot and ended up in the hospital the infection spread to her brain from draining it incorrectly

I think you dealt with this amazingly!! So Kudos to you I have only had one about a 5th of the size and the pain is unreal. Just to breathe on it hurts nevermind four fingers squeezing the hell out of it! Ignore the haters I think you a superstar. Hope all is healed now!

You need to tell who ever is in the background to be quiet. If it's is infected you really need to go to the Doctor. That must really hurt. And it will continue to hurt until you do something about it. If it needs drained they can do that as well as give you an antibiotic. From what your saying about it stinking that is a sure sign that it is infected. You really need to wear gloves. This will help prevent the infection from spreading to other parts of your body.

I remember having one on my arm. It was so severe, that I couldn't move my arm without being in extreme pain. The day after I went to the doctor, the pus poured out of my arm. Now I have a fairly big scar from it. It's even a little raised a little

Staff infection is highly contagious. And others had their hands near it. Hope it wasn't spread to the other's.

If you have a staph infection.. you go to a hospital. That could end in blood poisoning. Also, it's right next to a major nerve that's responsible for half the movements on your face. Ugh.. foolish.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say these folks are from Canada.

P.S.A. If you believe that you have a staph infection you need to get medical attention right away. My dad contracted M.R.S.A. and was septic before anyone realized it. He had to be on an intense, round the clock antibiotic drip that fed directly into his heart for 3 months straight. Don't fuck around with this stuff.

Nowadays we never get the finish of a squeezing and I get so disappointed. What's the deal when we can't follow because of too early cutting og blocking or bad taping?? I'll stop to watch myself because it's not satisfying at all that way. OK?

Did this guy have an antibiotic pump? That's the way they treat staph infections.

I had an infection like that once. I didn't screw around with it. I took a pair of pliers and positioned the jaws around it. On the count of three, I squeezed down hard on the pliers and the core and puss just exploded out of it. It hurt like hell but was still better than taking forever, squeezing out a little at a time. After a few minutes, it felt so much better with all that crap gone. After all the infection came out it left a hole. I poured hydrogen peroxide in the hole and flushed it out well. Then using my fingertip I forced some antibiotic ointment into the hole and covered with a band-aid. It completely healed in a few days. I had a large wart once that grew right on my knee. I tried Compound W and that didn't do anything. Later, I stood in the bathtub and whacked it off with a razor blade. It bled for a long time but in a week it grew back even larger. Then I tried Compound W again but this time, before the Compound W dried, I set it on fire with a lighter. I'd grin and bear the pain as the Compound W burned out. I did that 4 or 5 times and then one day, while taking a shower, it just fell off leaving healthy pink skin in its place. It didn't grow back and I never grew another one. I sometimes, especially when I'm getting ill, I'll have one to several little taste buds on my tongue turn white, enlarge, and hurt like hell. One day I got tired of one that was especially painful so I got a pair of fingernail clippers and snipped it right off. It really hurt and bled quite a lot. But after a minute or two, the bleeding stopped and the pain was completely gone like nothing ever happened. I have been snipping off the little bastards for close to 40 years now without any complications. The second I feel one starting, I snip it off. That is much better than being in pain for up to two weeks waiting for them to go away on their own.

I've had MRSA and believe me, it hurts like hell. Everyone's just like "just squeeze it just squeeze it" not realizing how painful it truly is...

That infection is no joke. It starts as a little pimple and it grows rapidly. The pain is just unbearable.

I’ve had one right there, bro! The infection comes from ingrown hairs growing in the pocket as well as bacteria building up underneath the skin due to lack of routine cleansing

He needs an antibiotic! People see a doctor. You can force the infection deeper into your body. I had a patient that squeezed a large pimple in his groin. He developed gas gangrene and died!

If it’s a sack it’s a cyst probably from an ingrown hair. Man up and squeeze hard. The pain will only last a few second.
