I've known for a while now that i need a suspension replacement / upgrade, Tuesday i got told the gearbox needs to come out. The hits just keeps coming, and I'm all out of steam.... That's some crazy upgrades 😎🤙👍
To make up for you lack of flex/lift(3 vs 4) Tyler upgrade your tyres to a more aggressive tyre like a 35x12.50r17 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss MT, 315/75r16 Nitto Mud Grappler(888mm or about 5mm taller than your RAZR MT), 35×12.50r17 Yokohama GEOLANDAR G005 X-MT or 35x12.50r17 Kenda Klever MT2(might be good opportunity for a sponsor as they are trying to make inroads in the Australian market as they aren't as well established yet).
Definitely notch the gearbox crossmember as the tailshaft would have been touching when you reversed up the travel ramp. I know that from experience lol

Could you just clarify for me please… before we all rush out and spend $10000 on superior gear for our Patrols, what you guys have done there is for rock crawling, ruts etc if the goal was for towing a caravan and or touring etc the suspension setup would be quite different? And how would your GQ’s perform towing a 2 to 3 tonne caravan? Would you create different rigs for the touring/ towing aspect of your lifestyle? Keep up the good work always enjoy your vids

was Burtos gq engineered for 4 inch lift and 35s ? here in SA we can't even have 2 inch and 33s, maximum 50mm lift overall.... love the 5 link front end, and hes twin locked... whoo-hoo !! and Burto is hilarious !!

hi great video! I have a 4" riser on my gq short, for the moment I have drop boxes with original arms and I am hesitant to switch to front arms like you on a "powerflex" ball joint? Or arms has fixation like the origin but in France we have no feedback on it, could you tell me the negative or positive for each arm?
Just a dumb question, would we need to change the angle of the panard rod and drag link. I own a gq and was wondering how strong those mount points on the chassis are? I've heard at big angles they break. I can see why, so is there a modification to straighten the angle. Great content
in america, anything over 3'', you get all the drop rods, brkt, ect.. here, your lucky to get extended, s/s, brake lines, as they were illegal to use.. & 4x4 places never touch brake lines..watch u.s.vids.. you learn more,,of the sht we put up with..
Can you talk about the legalities of this new setup? Does It need to be engineered with the new suspension and 35s. Is it the same procedure to have it engineered as you did with the Gu.

ANOTHER AWESOME episode guys...together with the maccas breakfast for our Sunday entertainment... 1) About bloody time 'The Wingman' Shauno turned back up...as it seemed as something/someone was actually missing in the vids where Berdo didn't have his offsider mechanic Shauno there, so is great to see all of the crew all back together in the workshop. 2) I thought Berdos green machine was called.. 'Kermit' ?? 😅 3) Just so yourself and SUPERIOR engineering are aware that after watching this episode, and seeing all the other previous episodes with the Superior Engineering equipment fitted on Tyler's cars, four of the mates here atm, plus one of their old mans, (and myself) have just decided that we all will be definitely making contact with SUPERIOR in the near future to purchase this same and extra gear for our GQ and GU Patrols. As one of the mates recently said, Superior Engineering are known to be on par with the best gear in the world where in some other countries 4x4ers ONLY want Superior products and pay extra shipping fees and don't care of price.. how the fk,,is the diff going to pivot,,if its bolted front & rear of the diff.???... it cant.. you only need a 3 link.. & pins to the chassis, to it can rotate,,which that set up cant..
