We often fix a few of these types of cracks a month. Results will vary on how long the toe stays together, but we’ve had this type of repair last multiple seasons. Cracks like these are very rarely a manufacturing fault. Unfortunately, they are a result of using a natural product.

Treat to watch, learned alot by your channel, infact i repaired my own bat, broken similar to this but used other broken bats piece, it was amazing experience for me, and now i have used that bat in matches.

Thanks, I don't recall any repairs coming from South Africa, but we've sent new bats over. Unfortunately, shipping rates are generally quite expensive to South Africa.

GOOD WORK. BUT THE WON'T SUSTAIN. REPLACE WITH A WILLOW NEW WOOD PIECE, AND MAKE A JOINT. IT IS ALSO A TEMPORARY WORK ONLY. "ONCE THE WILLOW BLADE CRAKS IT'S NATURAL STRNENGHTH WILL LOST FIR EVER". BUT YOUR WORKMANSHIP, PATIENCE, ARE APPRECIATED. GOOD SKILL

Great work. At 4.15 you draw a line at the bottom of the bat and then sand it down to the line. Can you tell me why this is done and it would make the bat shorter?

I hope it will be better if some small piece of wood replace in the place of broken area of the bat and it will be better strong than this

This is stronger than inserting a new piece. The old piece intertwines with the bat, whereas if you were to put a new piece in, it has to be completely square, and you'd need to cut out a large section of the blade to remove the affected cracked area.
