Fun random fact for persons that live and breathe for this deck, dark doriado searches the whole gang for free and isn't even a ur. Do what you want with that information
I also went Master playing Kash this season. The deck is in a good place, the only annoying matchup for me was Labrynth. Branded was… interesting to fight against. My list was quite different that being said : - I wasn’t playing Pathfinder. I dislike it and would rather use my normal on Arise, especially with what I have in extra - I wasn’t playing Gamma. The only instance when your opponent shotguns Maxx C is when you activate Planet. People are afraid of Gamma in SHS so they wait to know if you’re playing them or guarantee that it the cockroach will not get punished. - The rest of my deck was almost exactly the same ratios in 3 Ogres, 3 Impers, 3 Ashes, 2 Maxx C (I will never craft the third one by principle), 3 Drolls, 1 Rota, 1 Pot, 2 Shifters. - In the space I got from not playing Gamma Finder, I put 2 Lava Golems (insane card that also combos with Kash effect because the burn in standby triggers your guys), 2 Talents, 1 Thrust, 1 Duster, 1 Gold Sarc. - My extra doesn’t have Saryuja nor Tomahawk. I use Dracossack because it has utility beyond Token generation and go for Heatsoul instead. I also have Accesscode but only summoned it once so might be replaced by an Apollousa honestly. I also use -Radiance- Titanic Moth to have an easier Zeus (but it didn’t come up that often tbh). Only real problem was interaction with the GY because I wasn’t playing Called By. I don’t like playing the card honestly but It wouldn’t be bad. Finally, for the non Ogre Believers, you know nothing of the delightful sensation of excavating your opponent deck to find the one Lovely or, strangely enough, one of the Destiny heroes for Fusion (some people still play that shit) and banish it. The scariest duel I fought was against a SHS player. I opened 0 HTs, he went for the basic combo then summoned Verte, sent Branded Fusion to summon a Sanctifire with Albaz and Snow. Fuck Snow.
Gamma works a lot better when you are playing pathfinder, that gives 3 targets that baits the big 3 handtraps (maxx c, ash, droll). There's no other "normal summons" in the deck, riseheart is for when your hand is weak and in the hands where you have to normal riseheart you lose just as hard to the same disruption/handtraps. Also if you're going for the heatsoul line, you might as well just play the tomahawk package since it costs the same number of slots and draw 4 with a free special summon > draw 2. You have a flex spot to run the dracosack even by cutting access.
@@TheShapestofSnatches After watching the replays, I find the line interesting as well although I am still hesitant about seeing it as being better. Also, about the normal summon : the reason why I want to keep it is for having the link line available most of the time since Theosis and Rise SS lock you. It’s also for Maxx C, since Arise activation is the easiest « Maxx C now bro » cue in the deck. There’s also the fact that I REALLY like Golem and Talent in the deck, but I am curious to try some of your stuff. What I find funny is we both fought Exosisters and Infernoid. I got DESTROYED by the Infernoid player (since they never brick). BTW, the fact that your guy had 59 cards almost made me want to call the police
@@KeertikaAndFallenTree Since we still have arise legal in MD, the link line is more of a backup instead of the first option. I'm ok locking to xyz if it means Theosis resolves since that means Ariseheart is imminent. The reason the Saryuja line is stronger is because it also has the special summon effect so you can use the Kash monsters you draw off it. Whereas a Unicorn or Fenrir drawn off Heatsoul does nothing that turn, Saryuja summons those and usually lets you make an Ariseheart as a result.
@@TheShapestofSnatches That makes sense. My philosophy about the deck is Arise is not the priority, maybe because it is banned in TCG. I see the main monsters as important and I play the deck based around the overall interruption of them + HTs rather than Arise floodgate and banish. Don’t get me wrong, I like going for Arise as well and yes, he’s absurdly strong but I prefer diversifying the sources of annoyance for my opponent than sit on him and lose tons of advantage through one Kurikara, Imperm or Kaiju
Rarely did I brick with kash, even tho people say it happened way too much with this deck. A going second variation helped me get out of diamond for the first time, so kash is such a real one.
I hope i will do good with it. Need to learn the matchups but kash is by far my most fav deck in masterduel. Even Arise will be go to 0 at some point i will play it. Ty for this guide. Helped me alot
Security dragon, link spider, saryuja, tomahawk (can't draw after Prosp so no point keeping the package), 1 ariseheart, then the last depends on whether I have Gamma. Get rid of Omega if I don't and Baronne (if there's no line) or Big Eye if I do
Oh, MD has the token jet. You can make Bujin link for a free R7. Although he can't be used as Link material, you could still use him as Xyz material for Spright combos.
Zoodiac Kashtira is way better, in my opinion. Pressure them to burn their hand traps, then punish them by dropping a Zeus or Utopic Future or get rolled by a full Kashtira control board. That combo is a nice pick of your poison type of deck. Plus, the way I built my deck i can easily go second or first.
That involves opening Kashtira combo despite playing less consistency or opening Zoo names instead of handtraps (which probably won't cut it going 2nd this format)
I have been using tomahawks to make Ip musquerena then into unchained beast. Good board breaker and has a chance to survive and do some interruption in opponents turn. Would love to try saryuja when I get enough cp to craft it.
Scare Kash is good enough for that, most of the time your ariseheart will end up with 3 mats with just Scare Kash and neither Scare nor Tear are "starters" or help out your bad hands.
@@TheShapestofSnatches ogre isn't a starter either and kash and tear can be special summoned while you control monsters though u need cards in the grave(or hand but you don't really wanna banish from hand)
@@TheShapestofSnatches that’s why I said to take out 1.. I generally search her first if I already have riseheart in hand.. the 2 card line (unicorn and riseheart in hand) would go unicorn>theosis>fenrir>fenrir search tear>riseheart> Shangri>riseheart target big bang target fenrir>overlay ariseheart on riseheart>special summon kash tear using theosis in grave> theosis banish and kash tear banish 3 from either side will give 2 material for the 3.. you end with shangri ariseheart x3mats kash tear and fenrir.. when turn changes over you can use shangri to special summon another unicorn.. you should also have a couple zones locked off of that combo Edit: Clearly the line is pretty weak to maxx c and nibiru needing 7 summons to pull off
Hi is me again, as superheavy is fading, need to update the handtrap mix for this desk? If so, how? Replacing droll with negates (veil/ghost etc)? Thanks
id put ogre at 2 add 1 tear kashtira cuz u can combo n stack arise too 3 mats right away finder at 2 add 1 gold sarg id also put infinite at 2 add 1 e.e.v.
It's mainly just having non engine like handtraps as backup which you have a lot of. It's better to put them on having their boardbreakers than running cards to counter them that you normally wouldn't run. You should also be able to guarantee some followup one way or another (as simple as arise-heart detaching theosis + another Kash monster) so long as you make it to next turn you can otk them or make another arise.
@@TheShapestofSnatches i see, so instead of spend all resources into the board, keep a few resources on the hands to counter attack. Thx for the insight btw
i try with normal summon riseheart and ogre and it works (thx you !). But why its doesnt work if i summon number 42 with like 2 ogre. If i summon NB 42 with two ogre, after that i cant summon link spider with the tokens. Link spider only need 1 normal monster so i dont get why i cant summon with tokens if i didnt use riseheart before.
High and not as high (sorry I didn't keep track exactly obv going first has a higher win rate but 16 handtraps including shifter gamma us very good going 2nd)
What a weird list to win so much lol. I know Ariseheart is good this format, but is it really main decking 3 Ogre good? Hate that card. It at least felt ok with Diablosis in the extra. Maybe it's the disrespect to Kash that lets you get away with this. Droll isn't too bad depending on your starter, and droplet is actually just a dead card against Ariseheart. I still prefer just running a second engine, because even with the full PUNK engine, I can fit 12 hand traps lol.
And i thought i was based with 2 ogres. Every kash deck i played agaisnt in DC was on saryuja guu tho. Cant bagooska pass after martha effect btw. Also also you couldve made arise over top the shang banished the nib and swung over mikailis
@@TheShapestofSnatches ahh ok I’ll be on the lookout for the update video I’m doing pretty good with Kash ima stick it out in trying to hit master at least once
Shifter is the best handtrap, 3 Ogre adds a marginal amount of consistency with Theosis and Tomahawk lines (basically adds more 2 card combos when you don't open a way to Unicorn)
