little bit expensive if there are other ways for totaly free these days .. And beginners wont learn from this, most of the time if you cant make a good mix, then you have not full range studio speakers. For example my friend buyed studio speakers and they dont give the sound below 60HZ. If you dont know that then your first mistake will be the muddy mix .. Your here it in your car and it sounds muddy for example .. So speakers are the first thing to care about if you wanna mix .. Same as for guitar and bass amps .. The speaker is god ! The speaker is the source of our recording sound in the studio. If you record DI then you got to use an IR loader for faking the speaker or cabinet (this will sound real).. Dont wanna be salty but this is how i think about this ..
You’re talking about mixing and recording, this is a mastering plugin. Yes having great monitors is a huge plus but put those great monitors in a junk room and it really won’t matter. The room is extremely important as it will have a huge influence on all your mixing and recording decisions whether you know it or not. But this video isn’t about mixing or going over all the gear that you need to mix and record. The video is just about the plugin which focuses on mastering. It is assumed that you have a decent mix by the time you get to the mastering stage so there’s no need to talk about all that other stuff as I have tons of other videos that go over mixing and gear and stuff. Are there free options? Yes of course there is. I have videos that cover those too. Some people will prefer to base their sound on budget where other people don’t mind investing in a tool that they feel works better for them. I’m not sure if you paid attention to what the plugin is or does but your thoughts on it don’t have anything to do with what this plugin is intended for. I can appreciate that Master Plan is not for everyone but there will be people that understand what this is and they will enjoy using it. It’s not for everyone but there isn’t one plugin that is for everyone.
@@AudioTechTV Yeah the room is a thing. You know I am oldskool .. Its to much fun to give it out of my hands.. Sometimes I am sitting here with some guys and recording and then we drink beer etc etc .. Thast what i like haha .. I go mix the drums of my new track .. I buyed that Slate drummer .. I was really amazed about how they sound out of the box
