As we enter July, water temperatures are much lower than normal. Dirty water lingers, but finally outside El Morro, there's blue water. Bait conditions are a fish smorgasbord. The Seasonal Rains have begun again which is creating a Trash Line. Water temperatures are up to 82 degrees, about 4 degrees under normal! Our first Black Marlin was boated this week so this is a positive indicator for sure. Tourism is down and the temperatures are up as in normal for July. As we come into the Summer Season we have clashing currents and clashing "Nino's". With these mixed-up conditions, anything is possible. But we have Dorado Babies in the bay along with baby bullet bonito, and baby Skipjacks due to the summer breeding season. We just had our first Hurricane head to points west, but this should help to get the fishing machine churning out Dorado, Sailfish, Tuna and more in Puerto Vallarta's World famous fishing grounds.
