MASTER GRADE TUESDAY!!!: MG RGM -89 JEGAN 

I just built this guy tonight. It's definitely a master grade with a full inner frame, but I find it hilarious that the inner frame of the arm is literally the arm from a high grade kit I've built 10 times by now, just with polystyrene instead of polycaps. The color separation is amazing. Actually, the colors in general are the best part about this kit. This was my second experience with the pop in hands, and I hate them. Most of the finger sets don't seem to want to fit in the slot in the hand. I absolutely adore the transparent blue lense pieces and I wish so much that this was standard across master grades and high grades. Not sure how I feel about full polystyrene inner frame and joints, but it doesn't give me confidence when the gates for my polystyrene runners are often cracked out of the box or splinter off when I'm handling the runner. I'm not sure I understand why Bandai started doing this after decades of using ABS and polycaps for inner frames, but I suspect its because people freaked out after using that spreading panel liner and on ABS and it destroyed their kit. I really don't think it's a better material for the frame. It's hard, but it's also brittle. I don't think longevity will be an issue, it's moreso if it gets stressed to breaking point.

Is the beam saber the same style as what comes with most master grade kits? I really like the flat-style blade of the HG Jegans
