I love the idea of brushing shoulders with top tier players in my favorite game, but sadly I don't have much to offer. My community doesn't enjoy Overwatch and I'm just another scrub on the ladder in low masters. Hanzo is a beast once you've developed enough skill with him. I think he'd even be good if they removed Storm Bow. His main attack is just so powerful. The thing about Hanzo is the skill floor to be effective is quite high so it balances out in the sense that he's really not an easy hero to be good with.
here after 10 months. hanzo its almost hitscan right? like... aim just a little to the side, im using him as sigma balls LULW and aiming like 1 meter away
Really great job with this guide. This is great advice and looks into the deeper concepts of how to use Gamesense to land more shots. I like how you specifically define what the enemy is doing that makes them predictable and even have a suggestion of how to manufacture scenarios where an enemy will respond a certain way. Also, great job at puting together so many clips that highlight the concepts you're trying to convey. An actual great guide!

Summary of how to get good at hanzo: 1. Make sure you get lucky shots 2. Make sure every shot that is a accident you spam in match chat and refer to them as a noob 3. Make your sensitivity 100 at 12k dpi(increases your luck shot) 4. Steal all the gold medals 5. Watch match chat rage
Awesome vid. As hard as it is, I play on 230ms (connecting to EU from South Africa) so ping makes projectiles really fkn hard, in addition, I need to upgrade my rig some, because even on lowest graphics I'm lucky to make 30fps. Imagine how hard the game is for me xD
this was a great guide for practising my aim with hanzo, just wanted to say that u kinda only truly hit the headshot at 5:18 because u could see them through walls lol, no just because you know the map layout. anyways good guide! sry for the late response lmao :)
A small thing I learned was body shot the unpredictable and headshot those you can track. That is actually really good to know, as it's much easier to hit a body shot on someone moving erratically
Another tip that I say is depending on whoever you're going against at the moment you set your vertical aim to their characters height when on flat ground. That way flicks are easier and all you have to do is aim horizontally because you have it set to your opponents height. I also find it easier to aim with your body, less aiming with your actual sensitivity.

dont click on the head, click around the head. if he stays still, still shoot around his head in case he moves. if he's point blank, he probably cant hit anything, so melee him to death, while dropping voice lines for good measure.
The one thing these videos never seem to mention is how long it took them to acquire certain skill. Without this important detail the person willing to use this advice has no idea whether it takes weeks or several months of practice, making it easier to question the process when there doesn't seem to be much improvement after faithfully practicing for days or weeks. If the person had an understanding that this process takes 3-4 months, they're less likely to give up prematurely. And granted the rate of improvement is different for everyone, but some sort of general time-based guidelines are needed.
He cheats. It is that simple. He talks about low sensitivity because he is using a low sensitivity aimbot to make it look legit. He does not even know how much time it takes because he never got it. Practice flick aim really? You never flick. You just normally aim but fast and CONTROLLED. 3.47 at his low sensitivity looked weird. Aimbot.
One thing you showed but didn't say was that you should also be able to use crosshair placement when double jumping. This means that you should know where you're gonna end up after the jump and place the crosshair accordingly before the jump.

A lot of being able to hit headshots with hanzo is either them walking in a straight line or random spam, because if they're strafing, they have to walk into the shot, rather than you clicking their head.

Hanzo is just a spam and get lucky character like Junkrat except Hanzo can one shot you and do way more burst damage. His projectile is almost a hitscan and he can burst out 125 body shots every second while also having 6 storm arrows that do 70 per body and can headshot for twice that. He’s supposed to be a sniper yet you will almost always lose a close range duel with him? There’s never a bad time to have a Hanzo he doesn’t even take much skill anymore. He also doesn’t even have a counter

Sometimes pro player said to lowering your sensitivity, but sometimes they said to increase it.. That's why i always confuse and leave it to default setting.. But in blacklight retribution, i'am doing very well with low sensitivity.. Your explaination so easy to understand, but idk would be works for me or not.. Please give me some advice dude..
But genji wears a mask, as does moira, but hanzo is a "real oni"!! I got the skin and then i just mained hanzo in death match, but sometimes i lose it all, the skill, the hope, the patience, but he always gives me hope, that oni hanzo is more a god, than even Huang Zhang hanzo!! I have head canons
Im maining hanzo. And I notice Im doing everything pretty much the same. But still im Silver :(. Also I realize im better on hanzo in the mornings on afternoons, landing headshots like a beast, when evening coom's on im starting to miss a lot of shots... And lose some confidence. So I avoid playing as Hanzo late at night or evenings...
Were not gonna talk about at 1:00 you was talking about aim missed everyshot on a widow and then talked about how you knew the ashe would disengage during the fight when u only saw her after the fight aswell it shows your masters but its edited and overlapping
