Earned a like and subscribe. I’m a newfound Jake main after playing Finn for a minute and I gotta say his kit is so much damn fun. Incredibly satisfying ring outs especially his upair skybox ringouts. Dude is so nasty as he should be. Still working on the best combo starter/approach but watching your gameplay helps me figure it out. Keep up the good work bro 🙏🏽
As a fellow jake main, you gotta chill with the bite and use more of the other specials and use the Nair into Sair mallet helicopter move 10:43. The upward movement is so unpredictable+armorBreak+greatDPS+Killmove and can if you miss it can be used to get into the skateboard better ROCK AND STONE!
As a jake main, I feel like the neutral special after the neutral attack is underated. It does like 15 damage and kills at like 100 for like light characters and 110 for like medium characters with weaken after the bite or maybe it does not even need the weaken and it does not need to be too near the ledge. I mean personally i think the bite is good but the hammer spin is pretty good.
you can hit dair twice and cancel it into the first hit of uair, which leads to the jake TOD, it is easier if you IAD the dair following the di is a little hard but not impossible, and while it is a true combo, the window it's pretty tight.
Will you be a Power Puff Girl main? Something tells me they will be like joker at launch. Broken, fun, and stupid ass hitbox’s. Also idk if you like spoilers but they will have a telephone booth attack to swap each other out during the match which means they will be a trio character like Pokemon trainer.
I know I'm late, but I've been maining Jake ( actually dropped Rick who I had 1200 wins with). So you even said you should use horse but don't only use it as recovery. When people air dodge away do a change up and horse at them to chase so it will keep them in the air.
No you can’t it pops them out of his mouth in the blast zone and you will take a stock and they won’t. Go in training and try it. It doesn’t work I’ve got 1100 Jake wins trust me lol
Horse if used properly is one of the best recov/approach options in the game Sair if used properly can shut down any aggression low risk when mixed with nair Up tilt is a wonderful move When used properly super good damage pretty good reach konda fast 🤷🏾♂️ Thats all without mentioning transform which really f***s with people if you do it from the ground and jump around also a super fast 360 nair which can be linked into an armor breaking psuedo jump which can be used to mix up height approaches or edge guard and all thats with out up special WHICH CAN GUARANTEE A DECENT HIT IF CONTACT IS FREAKING MADE can obliterate when they dont see it coming 🤷🏾♂️but ueah im just on day one with him so yeah
