iTunes Error 9 often appears when processing firmware update or system restores by iTunes. Several reasons are attributed towards the problem, and we have already posted a solution for iPhone error 9 fixes related to the NAND Flash error before. Here this video shows a different solution regarding iPhone 6 error 9 without removing CPU. With the help of our newly developed CNC chip grinding machine, this job can be done even safer and quicker without damaging the logic board and nearby chips.

Error 9 is solved by heating the phone a little, I have just successfully restored someone's iPhone 6 after trying different methods such as changing USB cables, using different PCs and a Mac as well, nothing worked until I slightly heated the phone and then tried the restore and it worked!!

I had this issue on my iPhone 5s before 5 months. I just baked the motherboard in the oven for 15 minutes on 180 degrees Celsius and it was fixed :D the phone is still working, my brother is using it and it's allright.

Amazing. Is there a ram on top of the cpu? It seems there is since there were pads right after grinding. If so, how is a missing part of the top chip impacting the RAM?

Bill A the circuit goes bad from lot of reasons like fall or those things heating or maybe a factory bad board its happens. The jumper wires accomplished a hardware fix with the zxw software you can fix 99.9 iphone problems

WTF? How do you know the error 9 problem in the chip corner? How damaged the chip board and error 9 comes up. (and fingerprint is failed :3 is it already not working or not')

The NAND Flash problem was excluded before, then we test with multimeter and found that the signal cable connected with CPU was open circuit. According to the maintenance diagram, the problem was confirmed.

The position we scraped is a GND(ground), which has no effects on the signal cable.
