I’ve never sweated my hands on sonic platforming before but those 4 goddamn towers had my hands shaking and sweating like damn they actually made this section hard

It may have been a bad idea removing the ring counter for the video because people now lost the reference on how many rings may be enough for the next boss.

I like the idea behind this having Sonic face the titans and see how he's grown through this adventure with his skills improving along with the players I definitely got my parry game better but I'm not lying when I put this on easy when I beat it I was so happy:)

This is why i practiced by timing the normal parry to the attacks

does anyone have any tips on what combos are the best to use? also the difficulty curve in this update is absurd, you have the trial where you can only cyloop and stomp those umbrella enemyies, which only gives you two minutes, then theres the two trials where they give you five minutes for the dog enemies and 10 whole minutes just for ninja. Then they drop this behemoth out of no where? why did they do this? Edit: I was able to beat it after like an hour of trying. Key is the parrys, if you memorize them then you're fine. I was able to beat Knight with over 100 rings left. (also 2-cycling wyverns first form is a big time saver as well.)

To do it in **hard-mode** you have to: Giganto - repeatedly send giganto flying with cyloop (this makes him take more damage) then stomp him over and over while hes airborne **MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SOME INSTA-CYLOOP LEFT** - if you're fast enough you can beat him with 350 rings left. Wyvern - Once you've parried missiles into him and parried his claw attack, stomp attack him twice (or enough until you have some insta-cyloop, insta-cyloop is very good since you dont have to waste time and can just press Y) cyloop him to make him vulnerable, then keep stomp attacking him. rinse and repeat for good results, I defeated Wyvern with 200 rings left. Anything under 160 rings while you're still battling wyvern is a lost cause and you should reset. Knight - Honestly you can just cheese him with stomp attacks. I beat it hard mode with roughly 9 RINGS LEFT, however this is the strat I used and I got it done in roughly 1 hour T_T. TIP: For the prompts where you have to press boost repeatedly (like giganto's laser beam), you can hold down boost and move the left thumb stick around to do it instantly. This is a massive time saver.

Unfortunately I was unable to make it past the Fifth Trial's Boss Gauntlet. I know I'm not that great of a player, but it is unbelievably brutal, you only have 400 rings and are expected to beat all 3 with that amount. Even on the Easiest Difficulty and auto combo on you still have to be really perfect with your parrying and exploit all ways to basically cripple the Bosses. By time I got to The Knight I had 90 Rings (At Most) to defeat it. In other words, I'm probably the worst player at this game. For what I was able to Play in the DLC, I enjoyed it. Just wish I was better at it.

I think I am gonna lose my marbles when doing this on extreme difficulty LOL

for everyone complaining that it's hard.. it's not hard. beating the titans themselves is super easy. its the RINGS that make this challenge want to rip your hair out.

I require timing, speed and discipline A real challenge Glad that it only three bosses, so your rings will suffice if you can kill them quickly, no goofing around

Why are people crying about the difficulty? I beat this within 20 minutes and 120 rings left. Parrying is now much better since i can time it by my preference so it made wyvern piss easy on hard

Can I replay these trails again when I beat the dlc story can you also replay the final boss and turn super sonic 2 again

The fact you can't increase your ring counter once you start the DLC is absolutely unfair. I only have 400 Max rings, so I don't think I can't actually finish all the bosses

How am I supposed to do this with 400 rings?

Bro the titans really did want to run those hands back didnt they. i knew sonic violated but not THAT much.

This is the hardest I ever played in Sonic games and impossible for me to win when Sonic only have 400 rings, can't get more rings after loosing rings and even have to start from beginning again when the player loose! Are there other alternate easy ways than just in easy mode to win this?

If hard mode is like this, imagine extreme.

I tried it on Easy Mode. I failed the first qte like I always do and I want to get this but I can't and I freaked out and had an ocd-induced panic attack and I JUST FUCKING CAN'T. Damnitinternalizedanger.

There are so many people like "this is what you asked for" and that "this is on you" for wanting the titan bosses to be harder but here is just unfair. You don't have your stats and you cant collect rings. I would be fine with that if they gave you checkpoints or refilled your rings every boss but no. This is just absurd. Also you need to perfect party in order to parry.... did sonic team even play test this at all? Edit: I beat it and the game finally by using the sonic boom method but I still stand by my word. It's still bad.

||I have competed it and found very good strategies Giganto - do the punch and stomp plus the double sonic boom combo If you don’t feel confident you can parry him boost away Wyvern - for some reason wyvern has something where I was able to hold for about 2 seconds Concentrate as to where you think the missile will hit and do the combo I said before for Giganto Knight - parry his sword and press L1 on his shield and spam the same 3 attacks||||

Is the trial as hard as extreme mode on hard? Because i want to try and do everything on hard mode

Yall, Quick Cyloop is a MUST!!! Increases the Damage down to them 10 fold

Is it posible after you beat the game to replay this trial

Do you have to do every fight back to back, or after the first two do you get a breather? Cuz if its all of them back to back, im gonna quit this dlc. The dlc was already hard in a lot of places, but this is its worst.

People really overrate the difficulty of this.I just completed it. Its not that tough, like moderately tough.

What did you guys expect? Its all our fault when most of people complained about game's difficulty 😅 And honestly...even when i wasted a lot of time playing these(don't be like me on hard) its still was a blast cause i was NOT prepared to this kind of challenge!

They fixed it already easy mode has more rings
