I found the boss to be a bit easy, but maybe it's because I'm too used to unfair modded bosses. Empress of Light is 0% luck, so there are never any moments where you're just killed for no good reason. It's always your own fault if you die, which means that when you've learned the mechanics of the boss, it ceases to be difficult.

We need to look where he has gone. He’s beat many bosses with useless bird, he’s got the tiger summon, he’s got spooky armour, he’s got xeno staff, raven staff, bats, and a tiger, with a parrot! He is the true summoner and he is ready to beat the moon lord. Also what’s the parrots name?

Melee is a boring class imo. In Master Mode enemies hit so hard you have to sacrifice all your damage to stand still and survive for atleast a while. The best thing is probs regen tank, but the main problem with melee is DPS. The only melee weapon with DPS comparable to other classes is Zenith imo.

@@zukamimotu..2071 the only other thing that can be compared to the zenith is the last prism, but i find it fun for the struggle of actually trying power up as a melee like in some times in can be harder than a summoner build imo

This is the most satisfying video on fighting the Empress. Because most of the players make it look so easy to dodge - but it's some much more compelling to watch your progression from dying and crying to actually developing some movements and laughing proudly when she is finally down. I did it…. All I did was use the dragon summon with the Zenith. I used a verrrrrrrry long rail track on the top of my world and just kept hitting and praying… I would not get hit. And although I died on the very last attack… I killed her too. The sword summon is amazing. Godspeed to you all

Circling around Empress of Light is a pretty decent strategy to avoid attacks. Since half of the attacks are tracing, you can just get away and lead the non-homing shots in a way that you'll never get hit.
