This is a video going over master of harmony vs shado pan and going over the good and the bad before m+ testing starts. Socials x.com/equinoxmonk / equinox raider.io/char...
Very excited to see what you do with all the tanks. As a returning plaayer in S3 dragonflight, and a recently changed tank main 1/2 way through S3 I have been starting to get a grasp of each tank playing them through some M+. Currently I am in limbo of deciding which to main (at first) for WW. This video and others will help a bunch. So far, VDH, Warr, Bear, and DK have the brunt of my experience - but monk is a blast to play and my eyes are looking to main it, buuut we shall see :)
I REALLY fucking hope these new affixes don't get put in the game as-is. Pugging is already hell, if they go forward with this it'll be *impossible* to get into even sub-10s if you don't have the current week's damage type. The "meta"-slavery toxicity will go through the fucking roof.
Damage réduction for Monk IS just Bad. For now it s the worst tank of beta. Yes u have damage but u take too much damage and New talent are garbage even more with the nerf of other aspect of the spec, specially stagger IS just Bad for now
The procs are always irrelevant and have most times nothing to do with tanking. 19 times out of 20 approximately. What matters is the interactions with dodge and shields and self healing and lowering your brew cooldowns. I couldn't care any less for the damage or the damage procs that yet another underdeveloped system is attempted to be implemented only to fail in the first 2 weeks.. Mitigation should be the only tanking thing that concerns blizzard but they're so hell bent over damage procs and lack of interaction.
