its fun to hear drum and bass remixes of metal songs because you usually think of DnB as a super fast genre (which it is), but when you hear metal tracks at 175bpm, they just make DnB look slow af lol
Hardcore and metal are kind of parallels. That's what I have to say about this. even the subgenres are similar Speedmetal:Speedcore Deathmetal:Gabber Screamo:Breakcore?
@@riokshutt2115 master of puppets isn't heavy metal, it's thrash metal. the bpm for thrash is usually around 200-210. the original master of puppets has 212
So you saw Pendulum - master of puppets and didn't think "hell yeah I've got to hear that"... I guess we're just different people. When I first saw this cover I nearly wet myself lol.
Pendulum were the first band I ever seen live. They played this. I didn't even KNOW about the song back then, I hadn't graced my ears with the awesome sound of Metallica yet. So damn long ago for me, while also being such a short time ago. Time is fucked up man.
its good how theyve made it their own without taking out whats good about the song, the chorus is pretty awesome and theyve still got the heavy crunch of the guitars :) nice remix
Ironically for many kids, it’s bands like Metallica that influence them enough to pick up guitars. For me, it was Pendulum through The Tempest' that made me want to play guitar. Thank you, Need For Speed: Undercover! ❤
@@jobanjotsingh1905 After MW and Carbon it's quite a downgrade. MW intentionally made the story cheesy, as shown in the cutscenes and the characters (think Ronnie), but in Undercover they tried and, in my opinion, failed. Stability is an issue. The bloom is cranked way too far. The customization is good, so is the music. You know, it also says a lot about the game when mods come out to do the work that the devs didn't and actually fix the game.
Actually, I think it's some of the best stuff out there (if you can find it), by which I mean DNB mixed with metal. Self vs Self (with In Flames) was one of the best things I have ever heard, because DNB actually goes well with metal.
Never heard of this band once upon a time. They opened for Linkin Park. FIRST RIFF. Master of Puppets. Then, an amazing drum and bass experience. Been loving these dudes since. Man, memories....
This is amazing... vocals are sooo similar to that of the original. I thought for a second that it was the original, but just remixed. Incredible rendition...
We're drinking and my friend told me put some music from RU-vid Master Of Puppets...Pendulum, I said WTF don't take anymore vodka, you are really fucked up... So I was so amused, then I realized it really does exist, good song IMO ;)
Well, it's true. Most of Doom's soundtrack was based off of metal that came out on the 80's and 90's, so it was the "past decade" relative to Doom's launch.
I love how a song that was released over 25 years ago is still inspiring others to creat new and inventive ways to cover it. Way to go Metallica, Exellent Job by Pendulum.
