Thats absurd to try to take anything away from Jordan because he didn't win a ring in the 80's. Jordan was a rookie in 85/86 and he was winning all-team and individual awards right away on a team that had never been anything but terrible. That was the height of the Lakers/Pistons/Celtics dominating the league but Jordan was giving them big problems by the late 80's. Plus Jordan never once even considered even hinting that he would like to play with certain players or dictated the coach's moves. He did what every pro did back then and played his whole career for the team that drafted him with the players that they had to play with.
